Well, what can I say? After purchasing a deal off Groupon for "Vickmay Skin & Body Spa" upon contacting the business itself, (1) the receptionist seems to always be quite busy to the point that she states, " someone is on the other line, can I call you back?.....always... and to add insult to injury, she would give a call back once given name and number," but she never does. (2) I, myself, purchased a Deep Tissue Massage for one of my Mother's Birthday gifts, that was in May. My mother and I have yet until this day of the 11th of Aug just received a call, only to get scheduled in for what it seems like a rush appointed visit, due to the 48hr cancellation policy, and all of a sudden we have immediate opened availability.
(Smh) Oh, the grey areas, I assume, to the fact, that after checking the given dates of this establishment deals as it correlates to the Groupon website of thus posted deals that are offered, they all end on the 18th of this month. So what does it constitute to the consumer? A tedious process of pushing one off. (3) I have spoke with management, or even perhaps the owner and she suggested, that I do not purchase the deal off Groupon prior to purchase and I quote "due to the fact that she will lose out on money."
True. Nevertheless, take your deals off of Groupon because management and/or team does not have the capacity to facilitate services to all customers. Moreover, it was your ad, for several months, it does not constitutes the run around of kid' olé phone-tag and a service that one can go somewhere else and receive with better quality assurance. Read moreVery disappointed in my experience. I had purchased a Groupon for Dysport, and I arrived 15 minutes early for my 2:15pm appointment and no one was at the spa. The service provider arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment. I went in and was told to wait in the lobby - the space itself is welcoming a comfortable, so I wasn't too upset to wait a few minutes. I waited for 20 more minutes and watched him working with another client on an IV drip. When he finally came to address me, he was very kind and friendly but didn't seem knowledgeable about how to check me in or have me fill out forms and was back and forth on the phone with the owner to figure it out. I was then told to wait in the lobby again to receive a phone call from a nurse. During my time waiting, he did not interact with me, and I could see him still working with the woman getting the IV drip. At 2:55, I spoke to the provider and told him I would need to leave by 3:15 because I had only allotted an hour to be at the appointment (in the past, I've never had a Botox/Dysport appointment that took more than 20 minutes). At 3:05, a full 50 minutes after my appointment time, the service provider decided to help me without my phone consultation with the nurse since she still hadn't called. I didn't feel like there was much of a discussion about what I wanted, what I'd had done in the past or what was available to me with the Groupon I had purchased. With all the time I had spent waiting, I would've liked him to have taken the time to discuss with me my desired outcome. I was made to feel rushed through the service when he finally did take me back for my treatment. I had to go through Groupon's customer service (which was helpful) to finally get a call back. I booked an appointment, showed up 2 minutes early, and the business is locked and closed with no sign of anyone there. I've knocked and no one answers and when I called, I left a voicemail (it routed to a different number and there was no message from the business so who knows if it's the correct one). I'll definitely not be using this business again. If a merchant isn't prepared to honor Groupons then they shouldn't offer them.
