The El Arroyo Sign — Attraction in Austin

Basically this place is all sign and no food or service. What a disappointment. I had to ask someone for a table (the place was basically empty). When I actually did get assigned a place they immediately forgot about about us, which I don't know how as the place was empty. I had to ask for a refill on the drink even after giving them plenty of time to check in on us. Crazy how a well known establishment like this can fail so hard. Now from seeing all of the posts about their signage every day I thought I'd stop and give them a try. I had to admit their good was pretty good. I was skeptical even as I walked in upon seeing as the plane seemed to be run by young college out high school kids. But the service was great, the food was hot and delicious, the chips were warm and crispy, they knew what they were doing....
