I had never done laser hair removal before and was nervous about where to go. When I found out that Jocelyn was a laser technician here, I purchased a package of 6 laser treatments. Even though it was a 30 min drive from where I live, and I could have gone to other salons closer, I went there specifically to get service from her since I liked other work she had done on me in previous years (facials, lashes, etc) and felt comfortable with her since this would be a bikini area laser. The first 4 laser treatments were easy to book, and I saw results pretty quickly. Once I got to the 5th laser treatment I was suddenly told by a man who answered the phone that I could not request for Jocelyn and he tried to force me to go to the other lady, Dialma. I told him I wasn't comfortable going to a new technician as this is an intimate area, and I was already comfortable with Jocelyn. I even told him I'd be willing to book whatever day she would be available. He was condescending and rude to me and argued that it isn't their policy to let their customers choose. He cut me off several times on the phone. When I told him to cancel it then, he suddenly said he would "try his best" to book me with Jocelyn. Suddenly, he was able to book me with her, but the whole call left a sour taste in my mouth. When I called to book my last session, a woman picked up the phone. I was given the same rude treatment as that man. They have to either be siblings or married because they both have no manners and poor customer service. Turns out that woman was Dialma, the other laser technician. She was trying to force me to get my laser with her. Why would I want her to be working on my bikini area after she was rude to me on the phone? It was the same combative conversation until she finally agreed to book me with Jocelyn. I do want to note that all the other employees I've encountered, like the other front desk woman, have always been lovely and kind! Although I would have loved to continue more laser treatments here with Jocelyn, I will not be returning and will not recommend this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI booked an eyelash appointment with Samantha through Groupon and had a terrible time. It wasnāt because of her but the overall experience. I came in behind a blonde woman who was offered drinks or other refreshments but the lady at the desk just told me to sit and wait without offering me anything. Then, once the eyelash appointment starts I am laying down on a bed with 3 other woman in the room who were having other services done and they were just loudly talking the whole time. I love getting my eyelashes done because of the relaxing experience as well but this was not it at all! I couldnāt concentrate on anything besides these ladies conversation, talking about their intimate personal life details which I did not care to hear such as how theyāre hiring ā the helpā from the countries. My eyelashes were fine I guess and I know that itās partially my fault since my eyelashes were kinda damaged from all the lash extensions Iāve had so I understand but for the time I was there, an hour and a half, I thought the results would be better. She gave me some suggestions for repairing my damaged eyelashes so thatās nice atleast. When I left I just asked for one of those nice drinks that were offered to everyone else but me ( blueberry topo Chico). Overall, terrible experience and will never set foot in this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSpa7 is the best laser hair removal spa that I've ever been too. Everyone is SO incredibly friendly, especially Laura and Shannon. Shannon talked with me the whole way through, making me feel super comfortable being there with a few laughs in the process. Today was my first time meeting her (as my last technician moved on from Spa7) and I could feel how genuine her heart of gold is. I hope to stick with her from now on.
Anyway, they are also very trans-friendly (obviously a very important part of an establishment like this for me, as a "non-passing" transwoman), so I wholly recommend Spa7 for any fellow trans people looking for hair removal services.
I've had four sessions on my thighs and I've noticed significant hair reduction. There are still a few stubborn hairs that like to stick around, though, so just be aware to temper your expectations of completely velvet smooth legs. They might go away on the next few sessions, but if they don't, I still don't regret buying the package. There are a LOT less hairs and it makes touch-up shaving far less of a hassle with decreased risk of ingrowns. Also, I got to meet all of these super kind people.
Bottom line? Come to Spa7. The ladies are all darlings and the results are...
