The church is great, beautiful church and even more beautiful with the music and hymns in the congregation. True and sound doctrine and teachings. The spirit of God is at work in this church, welcoming, loving, teaching, reproving, and celebrating growth in the walk with the sprit. All scripture based doctrine and the teachings quite often lead back to God's righteous and mercy, his justice and steadfast love, this is what is known as Luther's doctrine of law and gospel. In which one would acknowledge the Law of God, and then one recognize the problem of sin in his life and the guilt in the conscience. The law of God is good and Holy... But it does not save, it cannot. But thanks be to God the gospel is preached. Proclaiming the very words and promises of God's gift of salvation, everlasting life, and communion in the Lord Jesus. To know Him and praise Him for who He is and what He has done. Oh what a wonderful home we have in Jesus, that has been won for us through Jesus Christ. The sinners guilt becomes the sinners hope and joy, this is perfect for any one who loves praising, singing, worshipping, learning, fellowshipping, growing in the spirit of truth and holiness, in knowledge, and in wisdom... but most of all faith. This church is much different from what I’m used to. From their architecture, decorations and clothing, to their sermons, liturgy and hymns, everything preaches Christ and the love of God for me rather than fashion statements or false hope in my own works. The weight of sin, feelings of guilt or shame and the burden to be right with God by my own efforts are all completely washed away in the Gospel preached here and in the partaking of Christ’s body and blood for the forgiveness of all my sins.
