The Gift Solution — Local services in Austin

While strolling through the mall I saw this gift shop which showed exquisite Mexican dresses and tops with beautiful bold colors and embroidery. I had then entered the shop to look around at all of the clothing. While I was looking, I had this lady come up behind me and say “You know, the area you are looking at is from $100 to over $200.” She then followed that statement with “You must have some really expensive taste.” You know, I have never had that happen to me! I really did not know how to react or how to respond. I was thinking in my head was she “Racial Profiling?” Or, maybe she always makes her introductions to her customers in that manner!! Taking into consideration the age of the woman and how I was always taught to respect my elders I just reacted in a kind manner by stating the clothing was beautiful. I will never recommend this store to any of my friends, family or coworkers and hopefully no one else will be treated the way I was. Horrible experience!!! Yesterday while I was at the mall I saw some beautiful dresses that I was going to buy but then this white old lady was following me saying that those were some expensive dresses & I was like okay ? She then proceeded to say where the clearance was!! I was getting really mad but I have manners & I was not going to argue with an old lady! But it seems like she doesn’t like Hispanic people like me!! I left the store & went somewhere else to get what I needed!! I will never come back to...
