WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. Now I remember why I do not shop here anymore and go to Bloomingdales, and Neiman instead. I stopped in near the end of the day, the store was empty. The majority of the staff were playing on their cell phones behind various counters and displays. I go in to purchase gifts for my family for Christmas and no one offered help. When I approached an employee and asked her for help she said "one sec" then disappeared. Mind you, I was already carrying bags from other stores, wearing a gold Rolex, and in no way should have appeared to be a waste of time to them- she simply just did not care nor did she even attempt in the least bit to create the illusion of caring. I then flagged down another employee, asked if she had a certain shoe in a particular size- she came back said no and that she had to leave. From there I approached another counter and they were too busy folding shirts to even help me- they were more concerned with getting out early from their shift at a job they despised than to provide excellent customer service, which the brand claims they offer. I am not likely to ever stop in this store again because the service is THAT BAD. Now mind you, I would imagine this location should offer the best customer service considering it is located in one of the most affluent areas in the country with customers having nearly unlimited amounts of expendable income, but the service was non-existent and absolute rubbish. I purchased sneakers for my brother on Christmas we tried them on and went outside to walk, and then until he realized he did not like it. I went yesterday 1/3 To return the sneakers and I was asked where the sneakers use I said lightly Lauren one time outside and just to get a feel but other than that, they went back inside the box. The girl with curly hair at the counter told me that they simply don’t do returns on orders just because the customer does not like them, especially if they’re used. Not being able to return because an item is used is understandable, but telling a customer That they can’t return regardless, if they like the item or not is actually insane. Cells many things that cost $1000+ so you mean to tell me if I buy something Super expensive and I end up not liking it. I can’t return it just because I don’t like it.? That just doesn’t make any sense. You go to Publix and buy a box of cereal and open it and don’t like it. You can return it. Nordstrom is a very big company. There’s no way they don’t take returns at all. So I left and I’m at FedEx right now sending the item back because she didn’t wanna help me in store. Read moreI made an online purchase on 01/26/25. Originally the delivery date was by 02/01/25 as noted on the website during the purchase. Once I received the email confiorming that the order had been shipped 01/29/25, it indicated that they "couldn't get a delivery date." I was provided with a tracking number. According to the tracking the package was received in Doral, FL on 01/31/25, where it has stayed and remains as of this writing. It states that the package is "delayed", with no reason or estimated delivery. Attempts to communicate with Nordstrom were in vain - cannot get through to the customer service line and via chat I was informed that the order cannot be cancelled, and I cannot be issued a refund. If I receive the package, I will need to bring it in to the store for a refund. This is the best that NORDSTROM can do. I was unable to post without giving them something, however, if it was possible to give them negative stars I would.
After receiving a reply from Nordstrom, I promptly emailed them with the additional information they requested. As soon as I sent the email, the tracking information for this order – which had not changed since 02/03/25 – miraculously indicated "Delivered"! That is a lie.
