If you’re searching for the ultimate dining experience with top-tier service, look no further than Alejandra at Pollos y Jarras in Aventura—she is, without a doubt, the soul of the experience! From the moment we walked in, Alejandra greeted us with the warmest smile and a vibe that made us feel like VIPs. Her passion for hospitality radiates in everything she does, making her not just a server but an experience curator. The Service: Alejandra’s attentiveness is unmatched. She knew the menu inside and out, guiding us through her personal recommendations with genuine excitement. She suggested dishes that weren’t just popular but tailored to our tastes, and her detailed descriptions made our mouths water before the food even arrived. The Food (Made Even Better by Her): The food was out of this world, but Alejandra made it legendary. From the perfectly seasoned pollo a la brasa to the mouthwatering ceviche, each dish was complemented by her insight on how to pair it with the perfect drink. She even had a few insider tips on adding extra zest to our plates that made the flavors pop in ways we didn’t expect. The Energy: What truly set Alejandra apart was her energy. She wasn’t just delivering food; she was elevating our experience with her warmth and genuine care. She checked in often but never interrupted, making sure our drinks were full, our plates were perfect, and our table felt like home. Her ability to connect on a personal level, sharing stories and laughs, was the cherry on top. The Final Touch: When it came time for dessert, Alejandra treated us to a dulce de leche moment that we’ll never forget. Her presentation made it feel like a celebration, and she ensured our meal ended on a high note. She even offered local tips for exploring Aventura, which speaks to her all-around care for her guests. In Summary: Alejandra isn’t just a server—she’s a maestro orchestrating an unforgettable culinary symphony. Her dedication, enthusiasm, and impeccable service make her a true gem of Pollos y Jarras. If you’re lucky enough to sit in her section, prepare for an experience that goes far beyond food. Alejandra, thank you for turning an ordinary meal into an extraordinary adventure. You are truly one of a kind!

After being a long time costumer of their next-door restaurant, CVI.CHE 105 for years (same ownership), I gave Pollos y Jarras, Aventura, a try, recently. Skip the next 2 paragraphs, if you only want to know about the atmosphere, food, drinks, etc. and not my whole experience. My dinner experience was ruined by a lady who sat 1 stool away from me. 30 minutes into the conversation, she almost went off on me, a complete stranger, for not being up to date with the Gaza/Israel crisis. Immaturely, she shut me down, twice. Repeatedly, she told me to "go, watch the news," as if she was my mother. While this might be an isolated incident, it took away from my experience. An awkward silence and tense vibe took over the whole bar(just what you want with you $60.00+ meal). If this is the kind of people that frequent this place, I should look for another restaurant. Let me point-out this side-experience does not affect my star review. -The atmosphere, food and service: The decorations borrow from Peruvian redneck pop-culture, known as Chicha. While the neon fonts, posters, pinatas, etc. might look like randomness, at first, it's actually a theme of festive street Chicha culture. I've found it all very clever. -I ordered EL SÁNGUCHE DE PLAYA EL SILENCIO: Pieces of rotisserie chicken, homemade mayo, lettuce, tomato and avocado. The chicken meat tasted dried, which took some extra effort to chew. I've eaten the rotisserie chicken at their downtown location, before, and their chicken meat wasn't juicy, as I've eaten in other restaurants, either. Maybe, that's just the way they make it, and I should go somewhere else for rotisserie chicken. -The Pisco sour was warm at the top, and cold at the bottom. Their Caipirinha could have used more lemon. Perhaps, they should have added the lemon slices, as they do at their next door restaurant, instead of a lot of ice blocks (see pic and compare it to google image search results). -The bartenders, Joel and Steven, were friendly, and provided some small talk. All staff members I've come across, that night, were polite and helpful. Perhaps, I went on a bad night... To that lady: I hope things work-out for you. I would have told you this, in person, but you shut me down.

It was a bittersweet experience. The food was delicious but the service was not good. We were seated soon after our arrival without waiting. We sat for 20 minutes, no one came to give us water or ask for our drink order. The waitress kept waiting on tables next to us but never acknowledged us. We had to ask the hostess to help us get service, the hostess kindly came over herself to our table and took the order. When the table next to us left the waitress came over and set the table for the following guest, she dropped the utensils on the floor, picked them up and put them back on the table. I included her picture. I said excuse me! but she ignored me and walked away. We mentioned to our waiter what we witnessed and asked him to change it, he did. Nevertheless, this is a disgusting and disrespectful thing to do to anyone. I hope this young lady gets the adequate training to develop her skills as a service worker. It is imperative management investigated and evaluates her behavior and actions as they are too a violation of regulatory FDA standards.

"My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant just a few days prior to her birthday celebration, and I must say that our experience was truly memorable. 😊🎉 From the moment we walked in, Alejandro and Emma greeted us warmly and provided nothing short of exceptional service throughout the entire evening. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor added an extra touch to our dining experience. 👏🌟

Now, let's talk about the food. We decided to go for the El Piso option, which included a mouthwatering selection of dishes. We indulged in a succulent ribeye steak cooked to perfection, a flavorsome New York steak that was a true delight, and the chicken skewers, which were bursting with savory goodness. Each dish was expertly prepared and presented, showcasing the culinary skills of the talented chefs working behind the scenes. 🍖🔥🍗

I cannot emphasize enough how delicious the food was. Every bite was a symphony of flavors, leaving us craving for more. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the careful attention to detail in the preparation made each dish truly exceptional. 😋👌

Overall, our dining experience at this restaurant was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of Alejandro and Emma's impeccable service and the delectable El Piso meal made it a truly memorable occasion. We left the restaurant with satisfied taste buds and warm memories, knowing that we had found a gem in the local dining scene. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a remarkable culinary...
