Hi Aventura Sephora Team,
I came in with limited time and needed much assistance! I use Fenty skin as well as all the Fenty beauty products. I needed knowledge on how to use a lot of the products I have purchased since I typically don't wear makeup. I know this may seem extremely odd but typically if I need makeup done it would be done by a family member. My family stated since I'm 37 years old I should know how to do makeup lol my reply is always “why when all of you know how to do it”. After giving it careful thought, I decided to just get some assistance.
I was headed on a trip later that day in only had roughly 3 hours before I needed to head to the airport. I came into the Aventura location, and I was greeted by a team member that felt Aubri would be the best person to assist with my needs. THEY WERE CORRECT!
Upon meeting her my first impression was she is so adorable, and her skin and makeup are FLAWLESS! I explained to Aubri that I needed to know how to use my product as well as needed to look for the actual trip that I was going on that day. With confidence, she cleansed my face, she hydrated my face, she educated me on all of my products, she suggested new products that she felt would be best for my skin type, she offered a cool way to enhance the look that she created of which I loved and adored. She offered tips to maintain hydrated skin as well as rid hyperpigmentation. Last but not least she did this in the most timely manner!
I happily made my purchases and couldn't stop admiring the work she had done!
At the end of receiving the service I couldn't help but ask her age as she looked so young and when she let me know I was simply blown away. She is so knowledgeable at such a young age! I just know she has an extremely bright future ahead of her and I'm so thankful I got to meet her.
There has never been a time that I've attended the Aventura location and not had a phenomenal experience! I am utterly grateful to be a beauty insider but even more thankful that your teams hire such phenomenal people!
Thank you, Aubrey and the entire Aventura Sephora team!
I look, forward to seeing all of you...
Read moreMy friends and I were just browsing the products, you know, like what a customer does, when we notice this woman, Maria, following us around like we’re about to steal something. We’re off put by this and decide to leave the aisle we were in because we didn’t want to cause any trouble, but we eventually come back because we were wondering if we should buy something. As my friends and I continue to browse she keeps trailing behind us and acting as if we were criminals with intent to shoplift. Mind you, we were perfectly respectful and had full intent to purchase something if we truly decided we wanted it, and although these were expensive products we had enough money to buy them. However, one must be careful to inspect the quality of the makeup before dropping so much money on a single product, or even a large selection, so it is understandable that we may linger around the aisles to inspect such features of each item. When we all congregated around the mirror so we could check our appearances, we comment on the products on the vanity. Nothing rude, just lighthearted chatter. This is when we hear her call over another employee. This man ,whose name we did not catch, fully disrespected us by telling us that if we didn’t purchase something, we’d have to leave. Again, we did nothing wrong and we were looking at some pretty pricey products. This was truly shocking to us because we really did not break a single rule.. Is it truly a crime to shop with friends? Or maybe they had other reasons. I don’t want to accuse anyone of anything but I did read another, fairly recent, review of someone saying they felt discriminated against by Maria, as well as one of my other friends having an eerily similar experience. I hope both her and that other employee get a serious warning not to do this again, or else you’ll just continue to lose paying customers like you have been time and time again. Maria if you’re reading this I hope you gain some common sense and stop being rude to the customers that make your job possible, because maybe if you did you wouldn’t be working at Sephora at...
Read moreI enjoy everything Sephora because they really do have great beauty consultants but on Sunday, February 19th I visited this Aventura location and was treated unfairly by the consultant name Vivian. I came in earlier waiting for my out of town friend who needed help choosing new Skincare products. While waiting I asked for two sample products. When my friend came in I asked Vivian for assistance. What I love about Sephora is that it has products from a scale of high end to low end and they offer samples. Becauae high end product are a lot pricer I encourage my friend to request samples before making a final decision. Vivian was helpful until I requested samples for my friend. She went off to make the sample for my friend than came back and tossed the sample in my hand, because of her manners I checked the sample container and realized she only put a drop of the sample into the containers. My friend & I were so insulted. I went back to Vivian & asked her why would she give us such a low sample, she than went on to say because I had already gotten samples and because of that they were not going to give me anymore.( Sephora has a 2/3 sample policy) I understood her position but the sample we were requesting was for my friend who had never been to Sephora & had not received any samples. This was the 1st time my friend had stepped into a Sephora and this was the treatment she received. I than told Vivian that I didn't like her tone because she made it seem as if we were sampler customer and not buying customer. I than asked to speak to her Manager Karin who btw went above & beyond for my friend and made the visit very pleasant for her. At the end of the visit My friend ended up with a bag of purchased skin care products and samples. I gave 3 stars only because Manager Karin saved the day because if it was not for her it would have been -1 star. This statement is for Vivian at Sephora Aventura... "Treat...
