I had an exceptional experience at the AT&T store at 35925 Detroit Rd., Avon, OH, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Alec and the store manager, Mattie. Last week, my phone service was erroneously suspended after I reported my phone as lost/stolen, only to find it hours later. Despite following Assurion’s instructions to return the unneeded replacement phone and being assured there would be no issues, my service was unexpectedly cut off a week later. Frustrated and unable to resolve the issue through customer service calls, I visited this AT&T store in hopes of finding a solution.
From the moment I walked in, Alec listened attentively to my situation and took immediate action. In less than 45 seconds, he had my phone service restored and fully operational—a true superhero move! His professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care turned a stressful situation into a seamless resolution. I made sure to share my gratitude with the store manager, Mattie, who was equally welcoming and professional. Thanks to Alec’s outstanding service, this store has earned a loyal new customer. Read moreHorrible service. We got there at 3 PM. Justice assisted us if that’s what you call it. We went in for upgrades for 2 phones He told us the iPhone 16 pro would work. Never once did he tell us anything else except it would be compatible. Fast forward. We can’t transfer our old phones. Don’t even have enough storage. How is that comparable. Call back to store and he’s gone Alex could help me. He Told me to go to another store with a manager to exchange. I did go to Lorain store and Rico was great. He couldn’t refund me and I had to pay a restock fee but he tried and got me what I needed. Do not go to Avon. Drive to Lorain and see that crew. They are great
They told me to make an appointment online. I did. No one ever confirmed or got back to me as online said it was not an appointment till confirmed. Horrible follow up service as well. No surprise though.
Update. This store is horrible. Returned old phone. Ask for Justice to have his manager call me. He took my number yet no one called me. Buyer beware....
Read moreThis has been the worst experience ever! We went in to get help with a non-profit account and ended up switching our personal phones from Verizon to AT&T. At the time Rob seemed really nice but since the day we left, it has been a nightmare and nobody will resolve our issue. We have had to spend close to $2500 to switch our service over, we were promised credits that we haven’t received. We were told our first bill would be taken care of, it wasn’t and our lines ended up getting disconnected after multiple assurances from the Avon store that it was being taken care. The non-profit account bill has gone up 4 times the amount that we were promised and now the billing is completely messed up. I was promised that the general manager would be giving me a call and that has yet to happen. I would not recommend this store or their employees to anyone...
