I have never written a review in my life, but I can't believe what a horrible experience I have had with this Verizon store.
I went to this Verizon store to get an Apple Watch. While there the sales rep told me he could save me a bunch of money by moving my 8 phone lines over to business lines. I say how is that possible? He tells me that business lines are cheaper etc. I sit there for 3 hours while they move me over, telling them that I use all the bundles and love total tech protection and how it's great. They kept saying that business accounts are just cheaper and quoted me 374 dollars from my 487 dollar bill, and it included business internet. I told them I would never use business internet, but they said it came with the account so I said ok.
Once I get home from the 3 hour marathon, I find all my streaming services that I have bundled with Verizon are now cancelled. I call customer support, and I'm told that all the bundled discounts such as Apple One, Google Play, Netflix, Hulu, Xbox, etc are not covered under the business account. I was saving approx 50 dollars a month with them. Also, total tech protection, which I went on and on about how I love it, is not covered under the business account.
Then I find out that the 2 free phones that I got at Xmas for turning in my old phones, are no longer free in the promotion because they removed me from it when they switched me. Never told me this or factored it into my quote.
I go back the next day to say I want to switch everything back to how it was just yesterday, and they tell me I need to wait 30 days before I can change everything back. I say that seems weird but they said there is nothing they can do and it needs 30 days to process in their system.
I go back after 30 days to change everything back and I'm told that I can't switch until I pay to cancel the Modem, that has never been used and is still in the box, because it's been over 30 days. I tell them that I have texts from manager of the store, and have spoken to multiple reps and no one told me to bring it in before 30 days. All of them told me I couldn't do anything for 30 days which I have in writing. I would have happily done it considering I had been to the store twice in this period of time and live 5 minutes away.
I then asked for a quote to go back to the old account, and they quoted me over 100.00 more a month to go back to the same plan I had not even two months ago, and pay 330 to cancel the business internet.
The people in the branch and customer service have no idea what is covered in the business accounts or how they work, but they try and sell them like they do. I was openly lied to my face multiple times and it is now going to cost me over 1800 a year more, and another 330 to cancel the internet.
I have been a loyal Verizon customer for 25 years and can't believe what a horrible experience...
Read moreHorrific experience!!! Be forewarned that this is a franchise, not a real Verizon store. We bought two iPhone XRs with a BOGO offer in mid--February. We NEVER would had made this purchase without the offer. This store didn't have any phones in stock, so we completed the order on Feb 18th and had to wait for delivery. Several days later, we picked up the phones and learned that a store associate canceled our order for a new line. What the heck??? The new line of service was required for the promotion, so we LOST THE PROMOTION. That's a loss of $750 plus tax, folks! The store manager submitted paperwork to Verizon to have the promotion honored, but the paperwork was incorrect and sent back for corrections on Feb. 28th. It's now June 3rd, and NOTHING ELSE WAS DONE. No one in that store has touched our promotional paperwork in more than 3 months!!! In the meantime, we're paying full price on two devices when they should have been 50% off. It's also now too late to return the phones and cancel the order. Needless to say, we're FURIOUS!
The THREE MOST RECENT GOOGLE REVIEWS are 1 star, and there were common themes in the complaints - incompetence, apathy, and overcharges. That should be a clear red flag to all consumers....
Read moreUPDATE: FOUR months later and STILL fighting for our money back. Promised the upgrade fees would be waived and they werenât. Two additional business lines added that we didnât need and charged for those also. $35 x 6 lines! Promised some inconvenience credits that we never received. The business line manager Jeff has just blown us off, changed roles and told us to call VZW customer service. Thatâs not helpful since Victra promised the credits and refunds. TRASH COMPANY!
ALSO, your automated response is trash too. Nobody even replies to the customer service email.
Was in the store for FIVE hours for a service they offered us. Transferring and upgrading 3 lines from consumer to business. Even purchased an iPad Pro on top of it. That was FIVE weeks ago and our account is beyond messed up. Nobody will help us. Customer service says the store needs to help us and they wonât. Weâre being threatened that our service will be shut off Friday We are also being charged for phones that we sent back. I would never refer anybody to this store. Be sure to check that youâre not going to a Victra store before going. We didnât know it was an authorized seller and not the...
