Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Avon

If you're having a party, you can't trust that NBC will have the bundlet cake flavors you want - even if you pre-order them days in advanced! I recently placed an online pickup order for 9 bundtlets - an order that included a few different flavors. I placed the order 5 days ahead of when I needed the bundlets. When I arrived to pickup my order, I was told that one of the flavors (carrot) was out of stock! 3 of my 9 bundlets were supposed to be carrot! I was told I could either get a refund for those 3 or pick 3 new flavors to replace the carrot that was not available. What is the point of placing an online order ahead of time if there's a chance some flavors might be out of stock?! No where during the ordering process does it say that you may not receive what you actually ordered. This was a huge disappointment for 3 of the guests at my party, as they had specifically requested the carrot flavor and I had to guess which one would be their second choice flavor. I wonder what would've happened if I had chosen to had these delivered instead of picking them up - would I have been shorted the 3 cakes? If there's a chance the order may not be completed as ordered, there needs to be some sort of disclaimer somewhere during the ordering process. If it is there, it is certainly not obvious (I just went through the process again to check and didn't see anything). This is my place to go for a unique gift and also just for us I have bought many many times I was there and bought 12 mini Bundt cakes for a dinner the next day when I opened the box there was one that had tipped over totally my fault I went there the morning of the dinner and asked if I could buy one to replace the one that got ruined the girl at the front was very pleasant she had helped me the day I bought these.
