I hate leaving negative feedback, and I will start by saying that the few people I spoke with over the phone at Pixel Connection were friendly and polite. However, the Pixel Connection customer service related directly to my Amazon return/refund was abysmal.
I ordered a $2,100 Sony Alpha bundle. It arrived a day early and I was thrilled! Everything listed in the bundle arrived and appeared in good working order, even though all of the items appeared to have been thrown in a large box with just some plastic air pockets for protection.
When I opened the camera box and unwrapped the lens I immediately noticed something was wrong. The lens in the box was not the kit lens that was supposed to be there. Upon further inspection, I noticed the lens had a gray plastic disc screwed onto the end that attaches to the camera. I assume it was a non-functioning example lens like they might have on a shelf display. Iâve never seen anything like it before. I immediately messaged the Pixel Connection via Facebook to try to figure out what to do. It was after business hours, but they replied quickly and said they would look into it first thing the next morning.
The next day I had not heard from anyone, so I called the store directly. They said I would need to box everything back up and return the entire bundle. I initially was hoping to just exchange the lens because I liked and wanted to keep everything the bundle included. They said because of the way their inventory system works, Iâd have to return the entire bundle, so I did.
UPS confirmed the returned box was received by the Pixel Connection Dec. 13. I messaged them via Amazon to make sure theyâd received it and would be processing my refund. They said the serial number on the item I returned did not match the serial number of the item I ordered. This made sense to me because the item I received was not the item I ordered, so how would the serial numbers match? They directed me to contact Amazon customer service directly, which I did. Amazon customer service emailed Pixel Connection asking them to provide my refund. This time Pixel Connection replied that they had not received the item I was trying to return. I verified with them that they received the box on December 13, and so they said they did receive the item, but that the item that I sent back was completely unrecognizable in their system, it was never theirs and they did not send it to me.
This is when I really got upset. They were basically accusing me of fraud. So I contacted Amazon customer support again and went through the same process. Amazon told the Pixel Connection to issue my refund, but they refused. Today I finally called Amazon one last time and luckily, Amazon will cover my refund.
So essentially Pixel Connection is getting a free $2,100 in exchange for nothing, other than my wasted time and lost sanity.

We had bought a beautiful Panasonic FZ300 for our 18-year old son, interested in photographing water fowl and other game birds in fight. Alexis had informed me PC has a 14-day return policy. We asked her to consider our special situation. She did; Alexis demonstrated that PC is not just an ordinary brick and mortar facility, it is a place where their personnel are bright and have a heart and a soul. Alexis kindly reconsidered our special situation, bent the 14-day return policy, and sent us a RA. This is the place to confidently spend your hard earned money on camera products. You will be conducting business with genuinely compassionate people. They also demonstrated their dedication to provide great products and customer service.
