I am terribly disappointed in the service I received from ubreakifix. Prior to my visit to the store I was at the dealership having work done on my vehicle. I mentioned that I had to take my phone in and have repairs done The technician said, "my friend took his phone to Carmel and they did a good job." I asked him if Avon would do a good job as well since they were the same company and he repeated, "Carmel did a good job," but did not go into any further detail. I took my phone in at about 1:00 and was told that my phone would be ready about 6:30 that evening I was worried because I did have a phone appointment at 5:00 and I asked if there was a chance it might be done sooner and was told maybe. I thought I might just use an extra phone I had at home so I left with my SIM card and found the other phone did not work so at 4:13 I called back to the store and asked if my phone was ready yet and the lady told me it was not finished but she was going to begin working on it next. I went to the store to pick up my phone at 6:30 and was told it was not yet ready. I asked when it would be ready and was told maybe around noon on Saturday. I was very confused as to why it was not finished when she told me she was getting ready to start on it next at 4:30. I clearly did not have a choice so I left my phone there. On Saturday about 12:30 I had not heard anything and I could not call anybody so my son called and a friend of mine called and the call went straight to voicemail not understanding what the problem might be I drove out to the store to find out that their internet was down GameStop was next door to them they both had signs in the door that said internet was down I sat in my truck waiting and GameStop took their sign down so I asked the technician inside the cell phone store if they had rebooted to see if their internet was working he rebooted took the sign down but then 10 minutes later put the sign back up he said he wasn't sure what the problem was but their internet was not working yet I went next door and talked to the GameStop people and they said they did have to call to get help getting their internet up and running I went back and told the technician the same thing so he finally called his manager so the manager could call Comcast to get their internet up and running I'm very confused as to why when your business depends on internet to test the products that you are doing why would you not have already called I continued to wait in my car and I was browsing through Wi-Fi networks and saw that you break iFix Wi-Fi was up and running I went back home and ended up purchasing a phone from Walmart and had to wait until Monday because they're closed on Sunday Monday morning I got up and called and the manager was back The two technicians that had been there over the weekend had both called in sick I explained to the manager was going on and she told me to come on in and she would have my phone ready and she told me that there was no reason that they couldn't have gotten these phones done at 1:30 on Saturday when they're net internet had been restored and at that point I was completely livid because while I was sitting there watching the Wi-Fi and their internet was up they kept telling me it wasnt.
Your response that my disappointment was due to the internet is completely ignoring all of the issues that I stated in my review of your store. On the Friday I dropped my phone off clearly there was a president set for dishonesty and not following through on completing repairs at the given time. They suggested a screen replacement as well. After verification of my insurance they started working on it. It was late Saturday afternoon. They close at 7 and are closed Sunday. I hadn't heard anything back by 7 so I was resigned to using my work IPhone for a couple days. At 7:06, the technician, Tracy, called and said my phone was almost done and asked how far away I was. I said 15 minutes or so. She said to head that way and knock on the door when I arrived and she would let me in! I got there in 10 minutes, and it was ready! Somehow I swiped up my Samsung Wallet and couldn't get it to close. I tried to restart my phone and also just turn it off. It wouldn't respond. The warranty required I bring the device to this store, and I followed the online process for scheduling the appointment. I took my device to the correct location at the proper time, which was about 45 minutes from my home, only to be told that the part was not in-stock and they'd have to order it. I was informed I would receive a call when the part arrived. Two weeks went by with no call, so I initiated contact with the store and was informed the part had indeed arrived and told to bring it in "anytime we're open." The very next day, I brought my device to the store for the second time only to be told a technician that could install the screen protector was not on site and to bring it back the following day. Before this third trip to the store, I called ahead and was assured the proper staff was there and to come on it. This time, the phone was repaired quickly and properly, the technician was delightful and professional, and I am satisfied the eventual outcome. The waste of my time and the fuel to drive 90 minutes, roundtrip, three times to get it fixed is unsatisfactory and it informs my opinion of the company and the likelihood I would recommend it to others or patronize it myself for...
