We love marshalls but probably won't go back. The store is nice but unfortunately, for those who are disabled, you're out of luck if you need a wheelchair. Even if it is a little tight.. It's just the principal of having the option for those who need it. Marshall/TJ Maxx is not by any means a small name store. In my eyes, it's bad for business and quite unacceptable to be a large retail store without a single wheelchair (even a regular ol' push one!)
On Another note: Staffing. You have employees on the floor socializing with each other and the front line backed up so heavily, that it's drastically impacting the service speeds for those who are wanting to check out. The employees seem to focus more on being friendly with each other than they are focused on the customer service aspect of retail.. You can have a fun work environment and still maintain efficient customer service.. Just some food for thought. * ATTN Mothers: I have taken my 3-year old son with me a couple times. There are some safety concerns with the littles, only if you let them walk rather than sit in the cart..On both occasions (and solely the reason I stopped bringing my son with me) there have been pieces of glass, stone, etc. Exposed on the shelves or the floors that cause hazard to consumers and children. I'm sure they are inadvertently broken by shoppers, but often go unseen, causing a rather large liability for the company. Please keep this in mind when you have children joining you.
The store is absolutely wonderful if you're visiting on the appeal of decor. They have a wide selection and the prices can't be beat. HIGHLY recommend checking out the Sand + Fog candles. $8 and can fill my entire home with a wonderful scent from just one burn. Great options for kitchenwares, decore, pillows/blankets, and even the dog/cat section have great stock.
Stock for the plus-size women consumers in Marshalls:
90% of the time you won't find clothes above a 1X for women, the shoe section is unorganized and absolutely destroyed, and again - you'll rarely find any women's shoes above a size 8, and the socks aisle was slim to none. The selections on really any clothing are rather inexistent to a woman's thicker physique.
Men's stock appeared to have many options, but again - rarely anything for a man with a need for big / big+tall.
The beauty section is a gem. You find a large selection from drugstore & high end pertaining to almost all cosmetic categories. Usually unorganized, but with some patience and a sharp eye, you will really find some true gems on...
Read moreI was on a mission to find a dress for New Year's Eve. I was pleased to find exactly what I wanted. The store was very busy, but the staff were doing an excellent job of keeping everything organized and clean. The young man who was the attendant in the dressing room was extremely upbeat and had a great energy for helping to decide if a dress was a yes or needs to go, ladies always like a man's opinion on fashion and if this was not the store's plan, it is smart, he is definitely a terrific asset!! The store has great prices and lots of items to buy. I will say that the line checking out was 10 people long, and the cashiers were quick and friendly and had smiles even though a busy time. I recommend this store for everything fashion! Keep it up. Handicap ♿️ friendly from parking to...
Read moreI love marshalls & it always has great items at reasonable prices. Especially finding things that are nicer then some at Walmart & pay the same price. My only problem is that I bought a condiments container & they stuck the price sticker on top of the plastic lid. So if I didn't have the common since to look up how to get stickers off on YouTube I would be stuck with the ugly sticker lid on the container in my kitchen. I would hope they see this & have them not just place the price stickers just anywhere on the items they sell. Because it...
