I LIKE MOST OF THE PEOPLE AT THE GEEK SQUAD ONLY ONE THING I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT THE POLICY NOW THEY SAY YOU HAVE TO HAVE AND APPOINTMENT LMAO EVERY TIME I GO IN THERE HAS NEVER BEEN MORE THEN ONE PERSON OR NOBODY THERE SO I ASK MYSELF WHY AND APPOINTMENT Hmmm GET THE APPOINTMENT AN SHOW UP STILL NOBODY AT THE COUNTER .. NOW I HAD TO TAKE MY COMPUTER BACK THREE TIMES AFTER EXPLAINING WHAT WAS WRONG ... THE SECOND COMPUTER I HAD THEM TAKE EVERYTHING OUT OF THE COMPUTER ALL THE SOFTWEAR AND INSTALL'D ANOTHER SOFT WEAR THEY GIVE ME AND THE SOME OF THE HARD WEAR DOES NOT WORK Hmmm I THINK THEY SHOULD GO THRU THE WHOLE THING TO MAKE SURE IT WORKS SO THEY HAD TO KEEP IT TWO MORE DAYS I HAPPY WITH THE SPEED AT WHICH THEY WORK BUT I WILL WAIT FOR MY COMPUTER AS LONG AS IT WORKS THEN I'M GOOD . NOW AT THIS TIME I HAD TWO COMPUTERS BEING WORK'D ON A MAN CALLS ME AND SAYS THE COMPUTER IS DONE I SAY OKAY WHICH ONE HE SAYS THE COMPUTER I LAUGH I SAID I HAVE TWO COMPUTERS IN THERE WHICH ONE IS DONE... HE WAS SPEAKING SO SLOW AND IT SEEM'D LIKE HE DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING SO I HAD TO RAISE MY VOICE HE SAYS ONE OF THEM IS FIX'D I KINDA LAUGH'D AB FINE I'LL GO PICK IT UP LATER ...ANYWAY NOT TO...

I brought my laptop in cause the ssd was corrupted and I couldn't boot into the operating system. They said depending on the issue, either they fix it in store or it has to be sent to a service center. All it needed was a new ssd with windows on it but apparently was too much to do in store, so it was sent to a service center. The service center fix is longer of course cause it has to be mailed out, fixed and then mailed back out again. It took about 3 weeks and all they did was replace the ssd with a fresh windows 10 installed on it. Too long a repair in my opinion. I could not work my second job all that time. The repair was fine and I just had to reinstall my programs and set up the computer how I had it. All in all the repair should've been faster in my opinion. A regular pc repair shop would've been faster and cheaper in my opinion. I had to by the 200 dollar membership for totaltech. That would be helpful if you often have broken devices. If not, I'd say a small repair shop...

Big shout out to KYLE from the GEEK SQUAD. We bought a $1900 stove from another Best Buy, and were told that the 5 year Greek Squad warranty we purchased covered a replacement if it had to have 3 repairs.

Well, after 3 repairs, we asked to have it replaced and went through a huge run around with different versions of the replacement policy.

First of all, it's not simple.

But had it not been for a caring tech who kept trying to get our stove fixed and took the time to trouble shoot the non working parts, and went out of his way to make calls to the manufacturing company, to ask for solutions, we would still have a partially working...
