Our tour guide Eve from Bainbridge Adventures was absolutely excellent!
Working with Eve, we planed, personalized, and completed our private tour of Bainbridge Island from start to finish in 5 days!
During the planning process, Eve was extremely responsive and accommodating to our team's needs, such as accommodating dietary needs.
During the private tour itself, Eve picked us up right from the ferry terminal and took us all over the island. Digging into the history of Bainbridge at every stop from the Japanese Exclusion Memorial to Pia the Bainbridge Troll.
Comments from my team: "Eve brought such a joie de vivre to the tour, that made me more excited than I ever thought I could be about a flower stand." - Sam "Eve was delightful and a wealth of local knowledge. As she learned about our group and interests, Eve gave us some great personalized recommendations. I wouldn’t have appreciated Bainbridge nearly so much without her guidance." - Suzi
Lastly, Eve's van is huge and has AC so our group of 8 was extremely comfortable as we navigated the island - even if we maybe had a group of 12.

Read moreOn a recent visit to Seattle, WA, with friends, we decided to visit Bainbridge Island via the ferry. On arrival, we accidentally discovered Bainbridge Adventures, a small group tour of the island conducted by Eve. What an absolutely wonderful find!! Eve made our visit to the island one of the best features of our Seattle vacation!
Eve is extremely personable and was accommodating to our specific interests. Her knowledge of the island and subtle sense of humor kept us interested and entertained. Woven into our tour was the Japanese American Exclusion Memorial, which honors those Americans who were forcibly removed from their homes during WWII; Hall's Hill Lookout and Labyrinth, a very interesting meditative space overlooking Blakely Harbor; a visit to an incredible Dahlia farm, and Pia the Peacemaker, one of 139 trolls created by artist Thomas Dambo from recycled materials and placed throughout the U S and 20 other countries.
I highly recommend contacting Eve the next time you plan to visit Bainbridge Island. She will provide a treat of a tour you will not...
Read moreThis was a very poignant and inspiring tour for me and my wife. The injustice that was meted out to fourth generation Japanese Americans during WWII whose only crime was they had 1/16 Japanese dna in them, who were born here in USA and probably never had never ever set foot on Japan, leave alone spoke the language and were rounded up and were forcibly removed from the island and were interned elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and go visit this site with Eve as your tour guide. No one can do better justice to the job and help you understand the significance of the entire design of the site than her. I would have completely missed the subtle nuances of every bit of details of the site if i had visited the site myself. She does it with such grace, empathy and passion, that touches your soul and lifts your spirit and draws the better angels in all of us to make sure such injustices never ever happen again...
