Alina is a genius. She is a master of her craft, and her knowledge about the structural elements of jewelry design is incredible. She thinks about how a piece will be worn, and makes sure it will be protected (via the design) so that it will last. She creates stunning jewelry that is not only beautiful but durable too, which is important if it is something you wear everyday.

She re-designed my engagement ring, after I nearly lost one of the primary stone (the ring was originally designed by another jeweler in Bellevue.). And frankly, I love the redesign more than the original, which I didn’t think it was possible. So now, I won’t go to another jeweler for anything.

After that, I asked Alina to design a sapphire ring, and she was able to take my concept and created a gorgeous ring that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

She also has a line of gold hoops with specialty closures that can be worn with pendants or with another small gold hoop. I fell in love with the white gold and rose gold combo. I asked her to take 4 pairs (!!) of stud earrings that I rarely wear, to turn them into pendants. They are elegant and beautiful!

While on a two week trip to many destinations in Europe, I traveled only with pieces that Alina had made. Two pair of earrings, one necklace and a couple of bangles were all I needed to carry me through each day no matter the activity/style of clothing. I loved the versatility and classic styling, but the best part was knowing that each piece was secure. I was able to wear all of my AK jewelry with trust and confidence. Alina's work is top quality. Given the fact that her studio is not a conventional retail environment, it is key to stay on top of communication with her. I would not hesitate to recommend her to any of my friends for their jewelry needs.

Update: Now that travel restrictions have lightened and more people are vaccinated, we took a recent two week trip back east, that had me re-appreciating my lovely & versatile pieces designed by Alina. They remain once again, staples that I am so happy to own. I will never travel...

Alina’s jewelry is a unique find now a days. She created her jewelry with her own custom designs, and makes them onsite with her top of the line jewelers. She uses only the best quality stones and metals. My mom came to have a necklace custom made with stones passed down generations.
