Winslow Wharf Marina — Attraction in Bainbridge Island

Forget about renting a getaway or tenant slip. Matter of fact you are better off leasing a slip at another marina. It is wonderful that the city has built a new set of docks for visitors and now persons can avoid being harrassed, sworn at, screamed at, and women don't have to be pervertedly solicited by Robert the marina guy. Don't worry, you can easily find him...just follow the plume of cigarette smoke. You can't sit out and enjoy the picnic tables up there anymore = I think the board pays him to stay on smoke break, he's lurching in some dark corner spying somewhere to try to intimidate persons. The people running this place are a joke and the posts on here are true - Brenda did go to jail for stealing recently, very recently. We left the marina because Robert & Brenda continue to bully and threatens tenants there without cause - I don't understand why they act so hostile about everything, seriously...everything. I witnessed them threatening a woman telling her that if she spoke about Brenda and her despicable behavior that they were going to put a no trespass order against them and then called the husband and said the board was going to sue them if they spoke about Brenda being a thief again at the marina. ( I caught up to her a few days after at the market to get the scoop). You still can't be there and NOT hear about it. They kicked a guy out, a well loved, long-term tenant who put oil up at a pick up site for the guy who collects and without warning or conversation...just evicted him. This was a site authorized by the marina. The policy had just changed days prior and he was not in the know - that's it! We are all concerned about our financial security and the poor moral they have created. Maybe, if Robert and Brenda don't want people talking about her criminal acts then maybe she should keep her hands in her pockets, stop stealing from charities, stop wasting court time and the public's money, nearly 1 year, avoid keeping her name off courtroom trial lists and King Counties sheriffs jail roster. And maybe if Robert didn't go to Pegasus and share, in front of my daughter in-law, that Brenda told him that David, the previous manager, set up bogus accounts to pay himself, maybe persons would not be talking about how they are frightened for their own financial well being either because this sounds like...fill in the...

The marina is very nice--walkable from the ferry to Seattle, gated and safe/monitored, nice bathrooms, coin laundry with a free library of books and magazines, great views, and near a lot of amenities and restaurants. My elderly dad has lived there since 2015, and he has nothing but good things to say about the community atmosphere there and the marina's HOA board for their responsiveness and concern for those who keep boats there and live aboard. I have personally spoken with a board member during an issue a few years ago and he was very kind and considerate, and he made sure my concerns for my dad's welfare were heard by the rest of the marina owners who have a say in what goes on there. Marina management of the past has left something to be desired, but the folks I speak of are no longer part of the team, and the most recent marina manager is really on top things and keeping up the place very well. Bob at the Chandlery is also great, and it's a fairly well-stocked shop with everything you need for your boat and then some--ice, wine & beer, gifts--you name it. Highly recommend this marina if you're looking for a vacation week/end and a bunch of friendly local live-aboards (like my dad) to help you tie up. Just give him a shout--his name is Tom, and he's almost always around--at the end of B dock if you need help locating and getting tied up...

This place. ..not sure how this place received best marina when the manager Brenda just got out of jail in December 2017 for stealing over $50k from a local charity...Poulsbo Eagles Club and her minion... the swab..or dock cleaner creep Robert sexually harasses guests and any woman with a boat. He has been reported to be creeping in the shower room when women are showering. He bullies tenants. Stay away from this place. How can you trust your personal financial Information with persons who masterminded a deviant theft for over a year..?!?!?!?! Search Brenda Pipo Poulsbo Eagles Club... you'll see. There are many locals who have left because of gross behaviors of those 2 and commercial customers have left as well due to being harrassed...
