I had a wonder experience at Bakersfield Curl Co.! I had not gotten a haircut or gone to a salon in many years and was desperate for a change. Brittany knew exactly what i needed and exceeded my expectations. I was really nervous because I’ve never had a good salon experience, even when I went to a curly cut specialist before , I did not like the end result. For example the last experience I had, the hairstylist barely put any product in my hair and I left looking like a brushed out poodle! She insisted that I only needed a dime size amount of product and if that wasn’t enough it’s because my hair was not healthy. Mind you this was supposedly a curly hair specialist. Never in my life have I been able to go to a salon and leave feeling great and ready to go out. I usually rush out and run home before anyone sees me so that that I can style it myself. At Bakersfield Curl Co., the entire experience was great. I didn’t feel judged for the state of my hair and Brittany was very kind and knew what I needed. The lady that washed my hair was very gentle and I felt so relaxed. Once Brittany was styling my hair , the minute I saw the amount of product she was putting on her hands, I almost felt like crying, i knew I was in good hands. The end product was amazing and I felt like I could go out for brunch with my friends right after without running home to hide from anyone. For the first time in my life I could relate to my straight haired friends from all the times they would say how much they loved getting their hair done and how great they looked after, this day, that was me too!
