Turns out they took my insurance and scheduled my first eye exam for the following week with my availability. When I came in for my exam, the check in process was so simple and fast, Priscilla was so sweet, informative and efficient. When Dr. Cuba called my name he was very approachable and started asking a few more questions to make sure that he would be able to take care of my eyes and needs. He made me feel very comfortable and with a few exams, he knew exactly what my prescription would be and I couldn't have been any happier with the fast and thorough exam. He then directed me to Elizabeth who then finished my check out process. Elizabeth was so helpful with frames, prices and discounts available for me that my insurance plan offered. She didn't rush me, let me try on as many frames that I wanted until I was able to find the perfect frames (which were designer frames)btw they have a wide variety of not only designer but also regular brand name frames! Finishing up with paying for my exam, Elizabeth then showed me each and everything that my insurance paid for and what my patient responsibility would be. I was able to pay for everything with my Employer Benefit Card and only paid such a small amount out of pocket, I couldn't believe what a great experience I had with the entire process from start to finish! I had purchased Versace glasses, paid $400+ for the frame, to find out they gave me the ones they had in display. The lady only gave me $20 discount. later that day when I go pick them up, one of the side sticks was loose where it bends so when I put them away or set them down one side closes itself and isnt sturdy. I go back and the lady said there isn't much to do, if I wanted to wait 2 weeks for new frames. I told her why didn't they tell me this the first time. She said we'd figure we'd give you the ones in display. I'm like seriously. So after that inconvenience was resolved, in August I take my kids to get their glasses. My sons glasses where loose so I asked the lady to please tighten them up. She said that's how they come because of the spring on the sides, as she's telling me this she's opening and closing the glasses so roughly over and over again as she speak. Like if I didn't get it the first time. Looked more like she wanted to break them. She could've stopped opening them apart the first time she explained to me, yet she didnt. I believe her explanation even though she was rude about it . Also they didn't mention my son's glasses having that flexibility or called to let me know the glasses were ready, i had to call later in the day.
