Flavor: A+ Service: A Tea: F Solo dining: A The trail took us into the food court of the Wonderland mall this week and what a wonder it was. I got the “Vicious Burger” (presumably their showcaser if it’s named after the establishment itself) and it satisfied every burger-loving bone of my being. The two very thin smash burger patties were complemented by incredible pimento cheese and sweet candied bacon. All big on flavor, perfectly cooked, and well put together in a juicy masterpiece on a homemade bun. A rare A+. Few burgers I’ve had rival this one. Someone needs to give these folks a small business loan so they can get another location. Not in a food court. If they can make it in a mall in 2025, surely they can make it anywhere. The crinkle cut fries were as just right as baby bear’s bed. And the sauce that I assume came with the burger was what I used for the fries because the burger needed nothing else. I mean it. Nothing else. The drink selection is super limited but next time I’ll get a beverage at another nearby food court eatery and share the investment of keeping the food court alive. I did have to wait about 15 minutes for my burger but - trust me - there’s plenty to look at while you wait. Or maybe you’ll want to shop for something at a store you’ve never heard of. As much as I didn’t want to venture into a mall, I couldn’t be more glad I read about this place and included it on the trail. Cheers to Vicious Eats for cooking up a wondrous burger in the most unlikely of forgotten establishments! #theburgertrail #texasburgers #burgerreview...
Read moreI got “The Jake,” and they were some of the best chicken tenders I have ever had! The sauces that it comes with are absolutely delicious, and the fries are phenomenal. My husband got a burger and loved it, too. The portions were huge, enough for another meal later (and more so!) Additionally, the prices are great. It’s hard to find delicious food, great portions, and a good price these days, so that makes this place stand out so much more.
We went at a busy time, so we were told it would be a 25 minute wait, but the wait was so worth it. It was easy to see that the wait time is like that because they’re putting a lot of care into the food being made.
The ambience is amazing as well. Wonderland Mall feels like a nostalgic step in time when malls were the hub, and it’s so great to see other people enjoying themselves around you. It’s a cheerful place with a lot of personality. I would recommend this place a...
Read moreRead good reviews so decided to stop by while shopping. The girl at the register was rude but I brushed it off. I was given a pager and went to sit down. It took forever for a burger even though we were the only order. After a bit I decided to go check to see if maybe it was ready and I didn’t get the notification. It was sitting there ready and the girl at the register was sitting and eating something and had the nerve to act like I was bothering her. She asked what number was on the pager even though I was the only order at that time, she was clearly annoyed and acted rude. I took my food without saying a thing and as I walked away she started saying stuff and I didn’t look back only to hear her continue to talk. My daughter ordered a bit after me and she forgot to give her the pager and didn’t even call her for her food the cook in the back did. In the end the burger wasn’t amazing it was a...
