Our stay was from 7/11/2024 to 7/14/2024||Our truck & about 6 or more other cars & trucks got broken into in the hotel parking lot. |It was odd to my husband & I to see security at the door the night we arrived (7/11/24). we had never seen security at any other hotels we've stayed before. ||On Saturday morning, I get a call from San Antonio PD notifying us that someone had broken into multiple cars, ours being one of them. ||The Hotel said they were not responsible for anything that had happened. I mean if it is private property & private parking they should be held responsible. We paid $380 to replace our shattered window.||I also called regional & they said they could not do anything. They said the manager at the property had to do something for us which did not happen. ||They would not refund me my money right there & then, which we needed to look for another place to stay, so that being we had to stay there our last night. ||The girl at the front desk the morning of the break-in was no help at all & didn't even get me in touch with the manager when I asked to. The reason being they didn't have a manager on site. We never saw the manager even when I was told he/she would be in the next day at 7am which did not happen. ||Not once since the incident did they ever take initiative to speak to us. Like I said San Antonio PD was the ones who notified & even advised us to leave because it was a bad area & was not the first time they had been there for the same reason.||We ended up checking out the 14th as planned once back in my town I called to speak with the manager, the only thing she was able to do for us was give us 10000 points which don't even cover 1 night. ||There is only 1 elevator working and no inspection certificate are visible in the elevator.|One of the housekeeping ladies mentioned it's been like that for the longest & they struggle when they're trying to work for the same reason.|Another housekeeping lady also told us about the car break ins she said is very common there.||Overall just a horrible experience and very over priced. Definitely NOT worth the $500+ we paid.||I will leave photos of some of the vehicles that were broken into...

Read moreI have stayed here many times over the past several years. As always, the front desk personell are AWESOME! They go out of there way to assist when they can. However, I asked to not have the room attendant to do anything but change out towels and trash on Saturday. She cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed, remade the beds I had already made that morning. The lady at the front undoubtedly did not relay my message that I gave her that morning. She didn't bother to write it down when I spoke with her. I have to say I was a little disappointed. I know they have had a remodel in the past couple of years; however, you would not be able to tell it by the room we were in. The stand alone lamp by the door was broke, the pillows were AWFUL they were so soft your head sunk to the bed and I had 2 of them, the refrigerator was new and had not been set-up for use yet and it had no freezer section. My daughter went downstairs and asked the front desk about it and they said if you put the ice cream on the top shelf that would work for the freezer. So, we moved the shelves to make a top shelf. We came in the next day, my daughter got her ice cream out of the refrigerator and it was nothing but liquid. The room stunk of mold/mildew smell. The only thing that took it away was the air conditioner running down on 68. The ice machine on the 4th floor was broke. We had to go to another floor to get ice. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was never any bacon the two mornings we stayed only candian sausage and sausage. I cannot eat sausage. I ate eggs my first morning, they were cold, the oatmeal was runny, and the bagels were as hard as could be and even the toaster didn't help soften them. So, on Sunday, I had bought some yogurt at Target behind the hotel and at that for breakfast. I LOVE MARRIOTT brand; however, I am a little disappointed as I had brought a friend of the family with me and she was not impressed. This really let me...
