I had a great experience at Bob's today! I needed to buy a sofa for my new apartment, but was concerned about price and style. While I didn't know much about Bob's, I figured I would give it a shot. And I am SO glad that I did! I was immediately greeted by Aaron, who was one of the kindest and most personable people I have had the good fortune to meet. He discussed my wants and needs, and showed me items that appealed to my sense of style, taste, and budget. If I didn't like the color of an item, Aaron immediately looked through his tablet to let me know if another color was in stock or available for fast delivery, which was wonderful. After I selected a gorgeous sofa and loveseat - the price was far lower than I had planned to pay, and another area for seating is a great thing - I was approved for financing. There are many different types of financing that Bob's offers, from leases to credit approvals through major banks; they will work with you based on your financial situation and the amount of your purchase. Within an hour, Aaron had helped me find a sofa and loveseat in a style and color I adored, assisted me with delivery dates and times, and walked me through financing my purchase with the help of another agent (whose name escapes me - she was very helpful and kind, though!). The process was seamless, the delivery time is quick/reasonable (one week to the day to have a sofa and a loveseat set up in my new home is reasonable to me), and I truly felt so grateful to work with such kind people. Aaron is a STAR. There's no pressure or expectation to buy, and I didn't feel anything but excitement while looking for what I needed to furnish my new home. Bob's earns a full five stars for quality, price, delivery times, and an absolutely amazing...

Iâve never had a worse customer experience than with Bobâs Discount Furniture.
My delivery was originally scheduled for Thursday, and literally five minutes before the window, I was told they couldnât come due to a thunderstorm â fine, that part I understood.
But from there, it was a mess.
They said theyâd try to deliver on Friday, but I clearly told them I couldnât be available. They pushed for next Thursday didnt work for me , I asked for Saturday, they agreed⊠and then no one contacted me, no one showed up, and no updates were given.
When I called the store, the manager was incredibly unprofessional. Instead of helping, he said: âDo you want me to cancel your order? And if you keep asking me ı might have to cancel your orderâŠ.This was gaslighting at its finest: youâre left feeling like youâre the one being âdifficultâ for wanting what you paid for.
â as if that was the solution after weeks of waiting. That wasnât an offer â it felt like a threat just to shut me up. I asked for an explanation as to why nobody called or came, and he blamed being âshort-staffed.â Sorry, but no owner of a real business would be okay with this level of bad management and lack of follow-through just because an employee . Completely unacceptable.
This place is a joke once they make the sale â no customer care, no accountability, no communication. Donât waste your time or money here. Theyâll treat you like a burden if anything goes wrong. Bobâs lost a customer forever. If you care about your time, your money, and basic human decency â...
Read moreHave you ever brought something you didn't need? My wife and I needed dog food from PetSmart. We parked at Target in the rain, and said, we'd walk down. On the way, we popped our heads into the new Bob Furniture. We found a beautiful table and sofa, we loved. We had no need for it, so we looked and walked out. Later that evening, we both said, let's go back, and check it out. We both knew we were going to get it. Guess what.. Without me giving names, we felt rushed to "make a sale". I guess because we came back, they knew. Two of the folks, were more rude than friendly or kind. We had one person, who we asked on accident about something, who was friendly and ready to serve, and wasn't so pick something. His name was A-Aron. My bad, Aaron. Bad joke. Anyway, he was lovely. We promised him he would get our business and future business, just by his kindness and customer service skills. We took another one of your sales people up on their offer and went to Value City, we spent way over our budget, but found a sofa we didn't need but also loved. In the end, we are very happy. I think Aaron is 5 out of 5! These are big purchases, and time and patience is needed before just spending big dollars. I hope that process isn't lost in the days of quick sales. I get it, but you don't expect Used Car Dealers in Furniture stores, or I'm old and...
