Let me start by saying that we have all heard about Chick-fil-A being the best fast food place around. Their customer service is A-1 no matter what town, city or state. Now, with that being said...
I recently found out that chick-fil-A has their own signature sauce for their nuggets. I've always been a "Polynesian sauce" kinda girl. :) Well, after tasting the chick-fil-A sauce, I was hooked! I can not eat my nuggets without it.
I woke up today craving the nuggets, because I know with that comes the chick-fil-A sauce. So, I went to chick-fil-A and ordered (2) 12 piece nuggets with a side salad. They guy in the drive through asked me, "any sauce?" and I replied, "yes! Chick-fil-A sauce, please." He proceeded to ask me, "how many?" I said to him, "I'm thinking like 6." He stated, "I was thinking that same number." I pay for my meal, get my food and drive off. Never checking the bag, because they never mess up and I was rushing to get to work on time.
Well, when I got to work and checked my bag there was no sauce. I actually had 6 salad dressing for my little side salad. I was so disappointed. I'm thinking the whole reason for the nuggets was the sauce! I was not mad just disappointed. So, I decided to give them a call just let them know what happen. I was not looking for anything, but to make them aware of the mistake. Even though it was such a "small" mistake.
Kevin, he is the manager who answered the phone. I was very polite and kindly explained to him my sentiments about the situation. He listened patiently until I finished explaining. Then he said, "I can bring you the sauce if you like?" I was immediately taken a back! "Are you serious," I responded. He stated, "Yes... how far are you?" I replied, I'm like 10 minutes away." He said, "give me a few minutes and I'll be there." I was blown away and everyone in my office said he's not going to show.
Well, 10 minutes later, Kevin called and said, "I'm pulling up." I was ecstatic! I felt special! Never in all my years experienced customer service like this. He didn't care about my race, gender or age... All he saw was a customer that was not completely satisfied with their order. And he went over and beyond to please me!!! Who does that???
He brought me extra nuggets, extra sauce, and a free meal on my next visit. I was lost for words! I thanked him beyond words could express. Chick-fil-A must have hand pick this guy from the best of the best! He deserves recognition and praise for his outstanding performance as an employee and human being...

In the midst of a hectic week before Thanksgiving, I needed to place a last-minute catering order around 11:30 a.m.
The young woman who answered the phone exhibited remarkable professionalism and kindness, immediately putting me at ease. She not only accepted my urgent request but also ensured every detail of my order was correct, reflecting their commitment to customer satisfaction.
Upon my arrival at the restaurant at around 12:30 p.m., I was warmly greeted by the staff on the floor. Each one made sure I was being assisted, showcasing a heartwarming team spirit.
My catering order was promptly brought out, complete with thoughtful additions of cups, plates, and napkins. Despite the rain, the staff graciously offered to carry my order to my car, a gesture that truly went above and beyond!
The pleasantness and helpfulness of the staff were remarkable. Their top-notch customer service is a testament to the outstanding culture of service at this location.
Furthermore, when I contacted them by phone on December 4, 2023, to retrieve a misplaced receipt, the manager was incredibly efficient and helpful. He promptly located my order and emailed me a PDF copy of the receipt, which speaks volumes about their efficient and customer-friendly service even after the sale.
This experience at the Frederick Chick-fil-A has set a new standard for customer service excellence. The combination of delicious food and extraordinary service has made me a lifelong customer.

Read moreI took a friend recently for lunch. He had never been to Chick-fil-A before. Following recent surgery my friend uses a cane. A team member was walking to the door and greeted us, then she indicated she would hold the door open. I shared that it was my friend's first visit and she offered to help us out. She told us to find a table and she would come take our order as the line was quite long. We took off our jackets and she was back. I had sent my friend photos off the website of favorite foods and drinks. She took our drink orders of Sunjoys along with food combos and we paid. In a matter of minutes a young man delivered our order. The food was delicious, he ordered a classic chicken sandwich and I got my favorite chicken wrap, plus waffle fries. The lady we first met returned to check on us to see if we needed anything. We learned her name was Indira. My friend was quite impressed by the food and attentive service. Indira is a wonderful asset to your team. Three other people stopped by our table to check on refills and how we were doing. I told my friend that you have a great staff working outside to take orders too. I explained the superior drink carriers for 2 and 4 drink orders.
