Wawa — Restaurant in Maryland

This is a gas station with a take out deli/hot food counter. The food is very good. I prefer the food here over many fast food restaurants. They have an app you can order from then go pick up. You order your food from order screens located inside next to the counter then pay at the register. Your order is then sent to the counter to be prepared by order number. If you order on your app, it gives the option to pay then or pay when you arrive. They have the usual junk food offerings along with healthy food. You customize your food automatically when ordering. My only issue today was trying to locate the soup option. They offer different choices of dishes like different kinds of soup depending on the day of the week. They offer a wide variety of drinks like Dunking Donuts and other coffee places. Their smoothies are delicious. My only issue I've had is the employees not applying the extra meat, cheese or condiments that I've had to pay for. That makes me angry. Not getting what you pay for on several occasions. I've started calling the stores to complain. My next call will be to corporate. Overall. The food is great with a wide variety of choices. The snack options with last minute pick-me-ups is up there with the rest along with self serve coffee & fountain pop. The tall woman working in the deli was nasty! After submitting my order i went to the restroom,grabbed a few items, and checked out. I approached her at the deli where she was drinking coffee and looking at her phone...there were multiple orders up on the counter so i kindly asked if she had called my number and she proceeded to suck her teeth, shout at me asking what my number was, pointed to the order and then stormed away mumbling something under her breath. I dont know what type of employees you have working for your company but she was completely out of hand. The attitude was totally uncalled for! Not to mention 3-5 orders didnt even have tickets on them which made the process even more difficult! If she had done her job correctly i wouldnt of had to BOTHER her with my questions... ...

Beyond ignorant. Had to use the bathroom and they had the closed sign up for 30 mins for cleaning but no one was cleaning it. I asked how long id have to wait since floors were slightly wet and she said its closed and i couldnt use it. Im traveling 9 hours overnight and had to go to sheetz instead. She was rude about it basically yelling to me across the store. Never getting my business again which is a shame because im a regular wawa customer and travel often. Need better overnight customer...
