My son and I went into this store for the first time Sunday. We were looking for snow clothes for him, we weren't able to find them anywhere. We looked at all the big box stores and apparently January in Maryland isn't cold or something.. this store was sold out of their winter clothes because I'm guess everyone had to go here because again... Winter isn't a thing past Christmas, I guess. We did find a couple nice warm things for my son to wear instead of snow clothes. Growing up too fast makes it difficult to keep the kids in snow clothes since they only use them once or twice a year. Next I'll remember when we don't have snow is the time to buy snow clothes. Or anytime before Christmas, because after Christmas, it doesn't really snow... I mean not January through March, right? I guess the big box stores don't realize that most of the snow we get around here is from late January till mid March.. or they don't care about making a couple extra grand during those months.. to busy peddling chocolate to care. So thanks Sierra for already having good quality clothes at a good price that kept my son warm when he was outside during this snow...
Read moreDisappointing! Arrived to the store at approximately 8:45 PM and the store closes at 9:00 PM.
These associates/managers were passive aggressive in their customer service with a focus to close that they missed the mark on customer experience. They were so concerned about leaving that it came off as rude and lack of knowledge on what creating a great experience really is.
We were stopped upon entry and followed around and made to feel like criminals because were still shopping in your store at 8:55 PM. When your announcement still allots time when you say we have five minutes before the store closes.
I was forced and highly urged to put my selection down and told I could just come back tomorrow. Glad that my husband found what he was looking for and was able to checkout.
As we were checking out the guy associate is standing at the end of the checkout line watching us leave. Why...why was he doing that? We clearly are paying for our items. Go clean up a section in your store.
Disappointed and it will be my first and last time...

I stopped by yesterday to return a Cambridge Dry Goods sweatshirt I had previously purchased, and then washed before wearing. It came out of the dryer with the neckline, hem and cuffs looking stretched out and loose - and this was without even wearing it. I was told it couldn’t be returned because “this is a discount store” and anything laundered couldn’t be returned because it can’t be sold. I was surprised Sierra wouldn’t give me a store credit for a quality issue because these kinds of issues don’t show up until most items have been worn and washed. Makes me think twice before purchasing any unknown brands from Sierra, or supporting a store that doesn’t back its products. Even the local dollar store backs...
