I have always been a loyal Ross shopper. I have a frustrating experience at this Ross Store today. I was there at the store around 7:45pm and was going about my way looking through the clothes I like, selecting etc. when I’m done with my selection around 8:30pm and decided to try on, imagine my surprise, when I see the fitting room doors are close. When I talked to employees, they told me fitting room close at 8pm.
As far as I understand, store closes at 9pm. It doesn’t make sense to close fitting room 1 hour early and that too with no announcement. It’s disrespectful to the customers who are already in store. Customers like me who spent their time selecting what they like and now they don’t even have time for try on? How can I buy without trying on first? So I just left everything there.
If they are closing fitting room early, at least there should have been a courtesy announcement that hey, store will be closed in an hour so we will be closing the fitting room now.
I will not be coming to this store anymore in the future. Thanks Ross for not caring...
Read moreThe employees are rude, they randomly close the changing rooms whenever they feel like it. I came in one night and they said the changing rooms were always closed an hour before closing. So I ended up buying a bunch of clothes with the intention of trying them at home and just returning what I don't like. Well I went on a trip with my family before I was able to make it back to the store for the return, and while we were out of town my dad fell and ended up in the ICU for two weeks with a subarachnoid hemorrhage. I wasn't able to make it back into Ross within the 30 days. I went in there 14 days past the return policy. And by the way I walked in about 20 minutes before closing and the changing rooms were wide open with a line of people waiting. Even though I had a receipt and told them about my dad almost dying it still wasn't enough to get the money back on my card so I guess I'll just never step foot in that...
Read moreI love Ross but honestly there is an incredibly rude manager (I think that’s her role) here. I tried to buy a basket with a broken handle. I asked if any discount for the broken handle and the cashier said sure and then asked this lady (south East Asian, probably Indian). She then got so mad and said “don’t sell it to her” put it over there”. I felt like I’m at a bartering market and the seller pretends it’s not for sale because you question the price.
The friendly cashier told her that I wanted to buy it and I also agreed I needed this as it was just for toys but a few times she tried to tell him not to sell it. Honestly she’s been rude to me as a customer before. I don’t know why but she gets so mad if you are refunding or exchanging as well. I love the other staff here but I’m so sick of the way this lady makes you feel awful after making a purchase. I may just go to chesterfield...
