We order Papa John’s once or twice a week. We understand things happen, no problem. There is a problem, however, when the manager, Lisa, has zero customer service skills. The last few times we have ordered we have received expired sauces. I never said anything because it’s just a few dollars and I understand things happen. We continued to receive expired sauces each order, so I finally called tonight to bring it to their attention. The manager accused me of lying and said the sauces she was looking at were not expired. I offered for her to have the driver come and switch them out so they could see the Expiration date and give us non expired sauces which she laughed at me and said, “we can’t do that.” I then offered to send a picture of the sauces with the expired dates and she would not do that either. I asked her to please just refund me for the sauces and she refused saying that she does not have proof. WHAT!!!????? She then hung up on me!! Who treats anyone like this, let alone a manager?? If she cared to look up our ordering history she would have seen how often we order and have never had an issue. Not sure why bringing expired sauces to her attention caused her customer service skills to go out the window or why she would want to lose great customers, that order quite frequently, over THEM sending us expired food??? Below is the expired sauces received this evening-Use By 3/11/22 PS-we only received 8 out of the 10 Chicken poppers that are supposed to come in the order. (Would normally not have said anything about it, but when we receive expired food consistently and then get accused of lying about it with no suggestions to remedy the situation, it leaves a bad taste in...
Read moreWhen picking up the online order, I asked the employee who happened to be the manager (I believe his name is Andrew) to substitute a cup of cheese sauce in place of garlic. The online order system does not allow a customer to specify a sauce type. Cheese and garlic sauces are equally priced, and such substitution has never been a problem during my previous visits to this store. The manager declined my request because it would throw his inventory off.
During our entire interaction, the store manager exhibited rude demeanor in comments and tone of voice. When I asked him politely for the owner's phone number, he remarked, "Really, you are going to throw a fit over 75 cents." Having been instructed by the corporate customer service representative to make the substitution, the manager extended his hand, palm up, and told me, "Give me garlic sauce back now." With me still on the phone with the corporate and no other customer present in the store, the manager said, "You can take that conversation outside now."
While the corporate representative was very polite and helpful, she let me know that this substitution is a one-time exception. I believe that an accommodation of my request during future visits would be a...
Read moreI've ordered from them before, but recently had a bad experience. I called and asked if they were running any specials and the guy on the phone didn't answer for several seconds, chuckled, then said "why dont we just start with your phone number, ok?" He was super passive agressive and spoke to me like he was talking to a child for the whole phone call. All I did was ask for the specials! I guess that rubbed him the wrong way. He then told me the wait would be 1.5 to 2 hours. I was fine with that and placed the order. But his tone was so totally bizarre that I ended up calling back and canceling because I was honestly worried the guy would spit in my pizza or something. His energy was like barely masked contempt and for absolutely no reason. I think he just told me that long wait time because he didn't want to give out a coupon. I was reading the reviews for this location before I entered my own and there were a lot about not offering specials over the phone. When I canceled the guy seemed happy and apologized about the wait. Dude, it wasnt the wait. It was your creepy tone. I ordered from Dominos and the pizza arrives...
