Taco Bell — Restaurant in Ballwin

It's been pretty rare that I have had a good experience at this taco bell which is unfortunate because it's a nearly brand new build and in a very convenient location and I generally love taco bell. Be mindful that the ordering kiosk typically doesnt have all items on the menu (triple layer nacho) or has things that they dont have (bottle water). When I asked about getting a refund for the bottle of water- I found out they didnt have when I picked up my meal- I was advised that a medium drink is about the same price as a bottle water. Had I known that bottled water wasnt available I would have just grabbed a small cup for water from the fountain and saved my self $1.59. The food is somewhat inconsistent. My wife and I both ordered beef taco salads and either mine had a 1/3rd extra or hers had 1/3rd less. Both tasted good enough. I typically try to eat in the restaurant and notice that the drive thru line tends to move a bit slow causing people to bail out and just come inside. I hope the weaknesses of the place get sorted out because, like I said, it's in a great location, nice new clean building, and I enjoy a chalupa or gordita crunch on a somewhat...

Google says closed, and after having been there since the fire - I think the should have stayed closed. I have gone 2 times since this location has re-opened and both times were awful. First time it appears one of the empolyees walked out, but I had to wait 30 mins in the drive thru, and then after having me wait in the parking lot the whole time, THEN THEY DECIDE TO TELL ME THEY ARE OUT OF BURITOS?!?!?!?!? So I go ahead and just order the dorito locos tacos meal..... and they forget one of the tacos...... Horrible experience and a waste of money but my fat self loves taco bell so I tried again today and they forget a burito this time.. will never go back to this location as they are currently trash tier. go to mc donalds across the street, they wont steal your money and make you wait.

edit: just finished my large baja blast, and noticed there was a bunch of ice, so I poured my water in there to get it cold. Noticed i poured about 14-16 oz of water into my cup...... idk how that stacks up to mcdonads to be honest just thought i...

The quality of food and service between the morning/afternoon and evening shift is insane.

Everytime I pick up my food in the morning shift, they have NEVER gotten my order wrong and given me anything incorrect. They make sure to always give me a straw and napkins. Great service.

The evening shift is an absolute disaster. For the last 6 orders, I placed after 6pm, they have given me someone elses order. They don't seem to pay any attention to the orders and just hand people random stuff. Even before those 6 orders, they would ocassionally give me wrong stuff or forget to remove/add stuff like sourcream for example.

Another issue I am noticing is that they started preparing MOBILE drive thru orders right when they get them. They used to wait until the person actually arrived in the drive thu before starting on the order. One of my mobile app orders were soggy because of this. Again this happened after 6pm.

If I am rating only morning/afternoon food orders, it would be 5/5. Evening shift shenanigans drop...
