My recent experience at this nail salon was absolutely disheartening and frustrating. The initial nail technician (man) seemed completely clueless, attaching the nail extensions with glue and then attempting to cut them. Watching the extensions repeatedly fall off during filing was a painful sight. Rather than admitting his lack of skill and his mistakes, he persisted in piling on the acrylic, resulting in brittle, weak nails that were prone to bending and breaking. My patience waned when I noticed the cracks and bends on my nails and asked him to fix them. To my disbelief, he cut all my nails instead of the two nails I brought to his attention without consulting me and assigned me to another technician. This other technician (I think was Tracey), I assumed, would rectify the disaster. Alas, it was not meant to be. She did not extend the acrylic on the nail bed as requested when I first came in and again when I sat with her, opting instead for thick layers of gel polish that created a dreadful, stubby mess. My requests for an acrylic overlay with a subtle extension were disregarded and even my request for a subtle ivory or nude color was met with confusion and I did not receive the nails or the color that I requested and showed photos to them for reference. The pinnacle of disappointment came when it was time to pay. The lack of a cost breakdown and the audacious charge for subpar service took me by surprise. When I calmly asked to see what she had charged me for and raised my concerns that she had charged me for an acrylic full set (when they were adding the nails for the extension) for an overlay that was not done properly (she had not extended the nail whatsoever), the technician's reaction was shocking. She erupted in anger and walked away aggressively shouting to the entire salon that the mess they created was what I had wanted (like I wanted gross stubby nails that took 3 hours to complete) and asked for despite the fact that my complaint was it was done horribly and at huge cost to my time due to their incompetence. It was abundantly clear that my dissatisfaction was not being handled professionally. I refused to engage in the nail tech’s shenanigans and paid the invoice and left. My sister also got a gel manicure that chipped within twenty minutes of the manicure being done, which shows the extent of their incompetence at the most basic level. To say this was an unpleasant experience is an understatement. The incompetence of the staff, the disregard for customer preferences, and the unprofessional behavior displayed during payment are all egregious. I would strongly advise anyone seeking quality nail care to steer clear of this establishment. In a market where pampering and professional service should reign, this nail salon falls disastrously short. Your nails deserve better, and this place is simply not up to the task. I have included the reference photo of “what I asked for” and the final result after 3 hours of “what I got.”

First let me start by mentioning the first experience I had which was back in December 2022 I asked to get red cat eye nails to which they said they didn’t have so I settled for plain red gel fast forward to last month I got a gel mani and gel pedi. My finger nails were long and then one by one they began to break off at the skin of my nail bed. I went back and showed them to which they said not to return for three weeks. Well last night my toe nail started to break off in the same fashion as my finger nails so I went to them to get it fixed. Tracy or what ever the main nail tech name is decided to gaslight me and say that my nails were breaking off because they are sensitive!!! Let me also remind you the reader of this comment THAT THE LAST TIME I WENT THERE I HAD TO REMIND TRACY TO CLEAN UP HER WORK STATION AND ALL SHE DID WAS FAN OUT HER TOWEL THAT SHE USES. Not ONE TIME DID SHE USE ANY TOOLS THAT CAME OUT OF A SANITARY PACK OR THE BLUE LIQUID THEY USE AT THE BARBERSHOPS!! Today I expressed my displeasure with the service I have received and the lack of and NOT ONE TIME DID SHE TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY or apologized. If you want Poor service and your nails to break off this is the place for you. Also I will be informing the health department to investigate their HYGIENE PRACTICES and STATE COMPLIANCE Update: I saw that she replied but Tracie RESPECTFULLY I WILL HAVE TO DECLINE DUE TO YOUR LACK OF RESPECT FOR YOUR WORK and your Customers, and most definitely THE LACK OF HYGIENE COMPLIANCE below you will find pictures of sterile tools used for manicure and pedicure! I would rather travel back to NYC or even Laurel MD for QUALITY nail service because money for my grooming IS NOTHING!

Came to Broadway Nail Salon to get a pedicure. I had a cauterization procedure on my big toes two months ago due to a history of ingrown toenails. My doctor cleared me to be able to get pedicures as they are healed completely. The side of the nails are still rigid, but other than that, there are no issues. I made this clear to the man during my pedicure before we started so that he would not dig too deeply on the side of my toenails. He insisted that my feet were “dirty” (I always shower and wash my feet directly before nail appointments). He tried to start an argument with me about my “infected feet” and the “severe fungal infection” I had. He proceeded to call another employee over to loudly speak about my feet and how dirty I was. They laughed about it for several minutes while they both looked at my feet. This experience was beyond embarrassing for me and I cannot imagine how this would’ve played out for someone who has ongoing issues with their feet or an actual fungal infection. I will never return to the salon. Very unprofessional! See attached picture of my “dirty, infected” feet.

I became a regular after having Tracy do my nails but one day her husband did my nails which was no problem…he did an okay job but Tracy usually does a fantastic job without me really saying what I even like. The next few times I specifically asked for her but I kept being directed to the husband. I never knew what that was about but I just kept going to him and I always speak to Tracy when I see her bc I genuinely liked her. The last time I came which was 7/16 and the mood was very much off. I was telling the husband that I want a stiletto shape…it’s like he got annoyed when I said I wanted to try anything new. So I told him let’s just do the shape w no color I’ll just do the fill and he got even more irritated. After that he just stopped talking all together and being very short and aggressive w me. I asked him if I could run to my car really fast to get my water, so I left my keys and purse in the chair. Tracy comes out and follows right behind me and watches me while I walk to my car…i made a joke to her saying “you really think I’d run out without paying and leave my purse “ she looked at me and didn’t even say anything and once I came back in she closed the door behind me and sits back down on her phone. I just felt profiled and disrespected in a way bc I always tip very well and I was starting to become a regular. They don’t know how to talk/treat to people in this shop and that’s my problem. They really just want you to sit, pay,...
