I’ve come here twice before today and had very pleasant experiences! But today was very , very different. I came in for a pedicure which I was just there for a few weeks prior, the girl who dad my nails previously was great! Today it was an older lady and she went in immediately for the drill to remove my gel, I was almost positive it was supposed to be soaked first and followed up with a pusher before drilling. I said something when she got to my right foot and she did what I suggested, but why didn’t she do that from the jump? I look across and see a woman with foils on her hands and feet so I was unsure why I wasn’t given the same treatment without having to say something. To me, that was saying she was either trained incorrectly or just trying to rush through my appointment. She goes on with my pedicure and is drying off to start with the polish, something told me to look and there is a significant amount of dead skin still on my feet! I said this is the exact reason why I’m coming to get a pedicure is to have this removed, she was going to send me out of the salon like that! She started speaking to another woman im assuming the manager. The manager tried to tell me it was callus which requires a higher level pedicure ( trying to upsell me ) I know what a callus is this wasn’t that. I saw the girl who did my service before and asked if I could wait for because at this point I was just done with the other lady. Rose! She said her name was. As sweet as she can be comes over and finishes my service beautifully. But the icing on top for me was when I got to the register ready to pay and the presumed manager told me it was $73. Mind you I already calculated everything in my head prior, $37 for the pedicure, $20 for the gel and $8 for the French tip, $65. How did we get to $73? The woman tried to tell me it was some bs reason the French tip was more or something of the sort. I told her no, I was just here and got the literal same thing 3 weeks ago , actually I got the special pedicure and it came out to $73 so HOW? She started speaking to the employee next to her and sure enough, brought the price down to $65. I tipped my girl and left, I will not be returning. How they tried swindle me not once but twice and the mediocre job the previous tech did on my feet is just unprofessional to...
Read moreThese reviews are not honest. This salon offers a discount for a 5-star review. I came to this salon based on the high reviews and my manicure was far below expectations, especially having spent what I did. The air of the salon itself is alright, not particularly warm or friendly. I got a dip manicure and regular pedicure, requesting the same color on my hands and nails. Generally I wouldn’t have to double check this so I didn’t but the color that was used for my toes did not match the color that was used for my nails (when dip powder is used it is hard to see the true color until all layers are complete)…I didn’t like the shape that my nails were being filed into and provided some feedback. There was a small improvement but I’d still consider the shape old fashioned. I left moderately dissatisfied but just resolved that I just wouldn’t go back. My toe nails were chipping significantly within a few days (normal polish). A week after my manicure I noticed cracks in the middle of half of my nails. Two weeks after my manicure and my nails are breaking in half and bleeding. I am a person who has been getting dip manicures for years that last me 3-4 weeks, nothing about my routine or behavior has been outside of the norm. I can’t even go get my nails fixed because the broken ones need to heal first. This salon should focus on improving technique instead of coercing people to leave 5...
Read moreTerrible! I went in for a pedicure and manicure on my birthday. The young guy that did the pedicure was polite and my gripe is not with his service. The real issue was the girl who did my nails-her attitude was NASTY! She was beyond rude the entire time. I didn’t bother saying anything bc I wasn’t about to let that evil spirit mess up my day! Her technique is terrible and my nails felt like they were press ons (if that makes sense) -she didn’t properly adhere the tips bc they have that about to pop off feeling you get when your press on is about to come off. She didn’t clean the cuticles and when she burned me with the electric nail file, it startled me and this girl had the nerve to get an attitude with me for saying ouch! I have never been treated that way in a salon and they need to talk to her-if she doesn’t want to work, stay at home but don’t cause a business to lose clients bc of your attitude. I will NEVER return there bc of the customer service and lack of training. She filed my natural nails down so bad, I can’t put any pressure on them due to pain. Also, under my nails had clumps of acrylic-the girl had to be new and now I’m questioning if she was licensed! I don’t recall the techs name, but she was hispanic with tattoos. Just rude and she better be licensed or I’m coming back...
