Ingrid's has been around for 30 years first on main road in Hampden, Me then relocated as part of Sunnyside Florists at 117 Buck St Bangor Maine! They run a European farmers market year round on Saturdays from 8:30-12:30!! This brings farmers and cooks from all over to sell their food and local meats & cheeses & breads, doughnuts, pies, pastries! Also always beautiful flowers!! Depending on time of year also fresh vegetables! You can always find beautiful gifts from all over Europe along with Christmas decorations all year long! Really interesting books & cards along with delicious chocolates , cookies & other treats!! Also German meats like sausages & liverwurst and German breads!! It is always a pleasure to visit this quaint store whose prices are suprisingly reasonable for the carefully vetted German and other European and UK imports carried. Many items are there only because a single loyal customer made a special request. You could drive 100 miles or more in search of some of these items: if you did find them they would probably be shelf stale or overpriced.
