Let me begin by saying, I am always bragging on this Kroger to friends/family about the customer service here. I have been shopping here for years, and other than the last time I went in, I have not had the first problem. I do not often complain. Madison came out to bring the groceries and told me my butter with olive oil was not available, so I was given butter with canola oil. We don't use canola. No big deal. The total was more than expected so I asked did you take off the buy five save $1 each. She responded because I took the butter off, I didn't qualify. I then listed the other 6 qualifying items I purchased: vital farms eggs, poptarts, ritz crackers, and 3 boxes of kind frozen bars. I was met with such an unwarranted attitude, repeated eye rolling and scoffing, and "I don't know what to do." I don't know what I did to deserve this, but I said maybe a manager could help. At this point she rolled her eyes again, left, and got her manager. When the manager came, she was making expressions to the manager showing her annoyance over the situation. I don't understand why it was such a big thing and she made it into something bigger than it was. I didn't ask to be treated like this.
I don't know what I did to the pickup person to make her treat me this way. I am a friendly human being who treats people with dignity and respect. I don't think it’s asking too much for someone not to repeatedly roll her eyes at me just because I had a legitimate issue with being over charged. I explained my issue in a respectful manner: no change in tone, no attitude. You can check your website to ensure my qualifying items were listed on the buy five or more save $1 each: vital farms eggs, poptarts, ritz crackers, 3 packs of frozen kind bars. I actually had 6 items and the manger eventually gave me $5 off. I just don't get it, why did it have to be a confrontational thing and ruin everyone's day. Everyone else at this Kroger has always been super friendly. Not that I need super friendly, just not super rude. I'm no longer shopping here, because of how uncomfortable they...
Read moreThey have this young racist black girl that throws the groceries of white people into the bags (her name is Alexis). I have complained about her several times and was even able to show a Manager what she was doing, but she has never been reprimanded for it. I complained yet again on one of Thier surveys and said that I wanted to speak with someone about it, I received n e-mailed from a Tracy Bryant. She said that she would take care of this if I would call. I have called three times and held on the phone for twenty minutes each time. She of course never answered the phone. Nor has she returned my call, she didn't even bother to call the first time even though she has had my number from the beginning. This Kroger is terrible. None of the employees know where anything is at, they are all rude and look at you as if you arspeaking Russian when you ask them a question. Most just ignore you as if you hadn't spoken to them at all. Unfortunately it's my neighborhood store and is the monopoly around here, since the truly great stores, Sessel's, Giant, and Montesi's have gone out of business. Walmart isn't much better. What we need is a grocery store to compete with them, one that will teach the baggers to do the job properly and not let nasty little hood rats be racist punks to people. I have returned to this store on 17 October 2018. A Manager passed as she was throwing the groceries into the bags and throwing the bags into the shopping cart, and she said nothing to her. Which to me says that the Manager is a racist as well! Especially since she has repeatedly refused to take my calls or...
Read moreI place a cake order and cupcakes. For my 10 year old birthday today. I didn't care much for the digital service they now use, given I wanted to add a photo. Because it's going to just be printed out and place onto cake, you have to make sure everything is line up correctly down to what's written. When I could've just handed a photo or text over. So from the type of cake style with photo added, there's a small place that didn't cover. I stood inside in front of the bakery and placed this order. Asked questions, showed the backer how and what I was trying to have made. My true problem is that I ordered yellow cake with buttercream icing and confetti cupcakes with butter cream icing. When I picked up order I was told they were out of confetti. That white cake was use instead. I thought at least cake is yellow but if cake was yellow why not just use yellow, same as cake. So not only do I not have any cake or cupcakes yellow. I have white cake and cupcakes with whipped cream icing. The birthday child can not have whipped or white. In I paid for a order that is absolutely pointless to the birthday person. Every staff inside the bakery area was wonderful, polite and friendly. Which I give stars for that. But what's the point of being that when my entire food order is incorrect. I deserve a...
