**Update - I met a friend there for lunch on 6/9/2022. We cancelled our order after the drinks came. We both ordered sweet tea and it came un-sweet. No big dead but they tasted like cigarettes. They replaced our teas with sweet teas and they tasted like cigarettes and sugar. We left. I can never convince my friend to eat here again after this. The food was great in the past but I don't know how to explain the cigarette tea.
**Previous Review - We used DoorDash to order the Masaman, Lemon Grass, and Egg Rolls. We were absolutely blown away. I have live in large West Coast cities with large Asian populations and amazing restaurants. After that, I lived in Midtown and was spoiled by the amazing Pho Binh. I was afraid that the only places to eat in Bartlett would be chain restaurants and sub-par mom and pops.
Pho 64 knocked our socks off. The Masaman was some of the best I've ever had. The Lemon Grass with chicken was different and delicious. The egg rolls were simple and excellent. We are sold! We're permanent customers now! Great...
Read moreI will admit that the servers can be rude. The older guy who didn’t speak English threw the utensils on our table like he was doing with the unoccupied tables. And I think the other two would wither and die if they smiled, even if it was only to be polite. Their dining area is not really worth hanging out in so I usually get take away. With that being said, their pho is good. Probably the best in town. This is probably the closest to authentic you can get in this area. They serve the flank steak raw with plenty of sides. Some places will serve old predunked flank steak and it gets chewy that way. The broth is always boiling hot. The veg is always fresh and crispy. My daughter and I fight over the nice crispy bean sprouts. The lemongrass chicken is fresh and light tasting. I’m usually more adventurous with trying things but those items are tasty enough I don’t want to miss out when I visit. I have tried the red curry. It was ok. I would eat here at least every week if they had Banh mi...
Read moreWhen you first come in, you immediately get the filling of a mom and pop's restaurant, very basic and tidy. Usually there are two people who tend to the customers, I assume they are related. They are not very outspoken and rather go straight to sit you down and place your order. The menu options for the most part are the same of most Vietnamese/Thai restaurants in the city so it is easy to compare between them. However the food here is fresh, tasty and plentiful, yet the preparation is more modest and earthy, more comparable with comfort food and less sophistication. It seems to be well known for their Pho options, but I like the vermicelli with tofu, the vegetable fresh rolls, and the papaya salad when available. Although I ordered my options to be vegetarian, the first time I ordered the vermicelli, it was served with fish broth and it was very delicious. Lastly, the price has gone up lately but it is still less expensive than some of the other Vietnamese...
