First off, let me start by saying I do not complain about much at all. I work in the restaurant industry so I know customers will complain about the smallest things but I stopped by today looking for a PlayStation 3 controller to play some old games. I bought a used Sony controller rather than one of the off brand ones hoping it would be more reliable. Unfortunately, when I got home, it had a short in the left analog stick. Within 40 minutes of leaving the store I was back for a quick return. Before I left the first time, I was told āif you have an issue with the controller, you can bring it back and return it. Just hang on to this receipt.ā So I did and I came back to find out she can swap me for one of the off brand controllers or give me store credit because they do not allow refunds.... the F is that about? I was sold a faulty product and canāt get my money back?... I donāt play often so no I donāt need store credit or a cheap off brand controller. I stood there in silence thinking of how I just donated 36 dollars to the company. She tried handing me a store credit receipt and I politely told her to keep it for herself and by something for her as I slowly turned away and walked out. A complete joke ... but as I said, I didnāt complain. I just left them with my donation to the company and walked out while now I am sitting here in front of the store just finishing up this review. As Christmas season is upon us, please consider elsewhere for your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey like to scalp harder to find items. Game consoles are marked up up to 3x to 5x what they are purchased for. Games are marked up to 3x to 5x what their real values are. I was going to buy a digital ps5 from them for $499 in trade and cash. That's $100 mark-up from the original MSRP. Originally they had it marked for $499 and when I had completed the trade-ins, they said that it was mismarked and that it was not $499, but it was $800. That is right, $800 for a digital PS5. That's INSANE!!! That's a $300 price mark up from the $499 MSRP. When asked, they pulled the ps5 off the shelf and refused to sell it to me for the marked price. They refused to honor the "customer is always right" policy. This is a black mark in anyone's mind when shopping at any place of business. My recommendation is to shop somewhere else if you have the choice. They did however work with me on an Xbox series s that they marked it down closer to MSRP and not the $449 price that they had on it originally. With a single trade and a $50 price drop, I paid $382.00 for my Xbox series s. What hurts worse than anything is that if there is anything wrong with anything you purchase from them, NO REFUNDS!, Only STORE CREDIT! This is the worst policy...
