2nd time visiting. First time was just ok. Burger was kinda dry and wasn’t worth the money imo. 2nd visit I waited for a while at drive thru. Nobody ever took my order so I pulled up to window. Had my order taken there. Again, the burger was just ok. Kinda taste like burger king but way more expensive. This time my fries weren’t cooked all the way. I ate a few and then just threw them away. Same with the bacon. It wasn’t cooked very well. Very soggy and chewy. I took it off and threw it away as well. I’m not sure how this place will last with the prices as high as they are for the quality of food you get. To be fair I haven’t had the breakfast yet. Maybe that’s really good. But I paid $16 for a just an ok burger and fries that got thrown away. no drink. It’s hard to pay that at a drive thru when you could go to many sit down restaurants and have a WAY better meal for the same price or even cheaper. Honestly for only $4 more I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t just drive down to J. Alexander’s (Redlands) and do an online or call in and have (prob) one of the best burgers in town for a few dollars more? Best of luck to these folks but so far I’m not seeing/getting what I’m paying for. Also saw the “spider in the food” review. Thats super gross! And I can’t believe the manager didn’t comp...
Read moreThe food wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't in any way special either, so my wife and i were confused why my burger combo cost over $15. A few other fast food chain burger meals come to mind that are better and cost almost half the price. The fries were just bad, but that's just my opinion and some might like that type of fries. My wife got an omelet with hash browns that were only cooked on one side and too crisp and raw on the other side. Her omelet was just a slice of American cheese on a scrambled egg with ham chunks on it. We couldn't figure out how the heck they charge so much to be so very average at best. Normally for food that's just kind of okay I'd give 3 stars, but with what they charge for it I have to go with 2. We got the opinion that Tommy's is an overpriced jack of all trades that doesn't really excel at anything, and charges like it's...
Read moreMy Mom and I decided to try Tommys Burgers California Style after work. We passed by the restaurant a lot and wondered how it would taste. When we walked into the restaurant I noticed how clean the place is. My mom orders the Chicken Burger, and I order the Double Bacon Cheeseburger. After we placed the order we noticed that the receipt had two chicken burgers and completely left out the Double Bacon Cheeseburger. The servers were able to catch it on time, but we waited a little longer for our food. We eventually got our order and went home. When we got home I opened the wrapper and saw they forgot the bacon in my Double Bacon Cheeseburger. Besides that the rest of the burger was okay. The fries were definitely the best part of the meal, being well seasoned. Mom says her Chicken Burger wasn’t that...
