He actually was a furniture store operator for many a year. The new owner from my understanding only has about five years worth of training in the sales area of the jewelry industry, and the assistant has 2 years . Conversation with all three that were mentioned was very vague. Felt like I was sitting at a poker table. Unfortunately, I took what they offered. Just keep in mind if it really means something to you, I think I might possibly just go down the street (60) years of history of this business. It has changed a lot of hands from my understanding. The rings probably where handed out to another customer thats what the last owner felt that happened. It means that there's no quality control or concern of keeping your loved ones treasured jewelry secure. What kind of business plan is this? Took 3 watches for new batteries. Pd by check They couldn't get a Timex battery?! Said they couldn't send refund till mine cleared. Mine cleared in 2 days. 10 days later, got call: "We can't send a check for just $12; you can come in and get it, or we'll give you store credit on your account.. Won't take CC info on phone." (They called ME) (Hadn't told me when I was in store about their "$12 rule") Said forget it; I certainly WON'T have acct there. First rule of business is to make it EASY for cust. to do business with you. All the above is one violation. 2. Store is open barely 40 hrs a week (but pays 6 employees! Business must be great!) 3. "BY APPOINTMENT ONLY" sign on locked door (After I was admitted); saw four people outside (in perhaps 10 min.) look at sign, turn around and LEAVE. Don't know how they can stay in business with all those "can't"/"won't" policies. Customer may not always be right, but like your boss and parents, you have to treat them like they are. These kinds of customer non-service policies will perhaps lead to this only game in town...

Ashley was EXCEPTIONALLY patient, helpful, and knowledgeable! In seeking a replacement bridal set for my 5th anniversary with my wife, of course I was nitpicky, but tried hard not to be too demanding. Ashley took it all in stride and was very accommodating, God bless her soul. I have gone back and forth recently with the big chains and the impersonal encouragement to use online shopping instead was VERY off-putting. And those chains were lackadaisical in attempting to offer alternatives and options for sets that were outside my price range. Yet again, another example of how small town business support is exponentially more beneficial for the customer and the business. I will be back for ALL my future needs.
