Several friends have had issues coming on their dogs due date and the dr refused to use clinical sign told and observed by the patient. And the knowledge supposedly taught to them to determine if it’s a problem delivery or pregnancy. The only things the rely on is what Merk veterinary clinic calls a problematic approach to determine delivery timing. Bench top progesterone test results. If In your reply to this review you use the progesterone level as a reason for your failure you are saying YOU are smarter your equipment is superior than the years of research the merk institution has done. Mechanical device are prone to failure. They can be out of calibration. Only depending on this and only this is not acceptable answer.
The patient told you his female ovulation occurred on April 19 and by that date 61 days put due dat on June 19 for a total of 63 days from LH surge. This was the proper time to deliver the pups had you done your job all 10 would of lived. Your going to come back in your answer and say you didn’t have this information from a veterinarian. He told you it shouldn’t matter who tells you when the dog ovulation happened it happened on that day. Are you saying the customer is lying ? The temperature was given to you for last 24 hours prior to the visit ranging from 98.5 to 97.9 the drive to the vets office will make her temperature rise too 100.5 usually every female we have delivered this is happened it was told the dog had not eaten was nesting you had all information and you still failed to do your work you job your responsibility. You are the reason the pups died. Anything short of accepting responsibility and moving to stop it from happening again is just plainly covering up your mistakes. You were giving all the information ovulating timing you were told the temperature for past 24 hours and nesting information. Yet because of a problematic method of diagnostic test and possible failed mechanical equipment you choose to ignore...
Read moreOur dog was scheduled at 1 pm on a Monday! We have been a partner with this vet for 14 + years .. we have an older dog and a 2 year old ... we have had our 2 year old visit regularly! ... she has had all her shots and been boarded and groomed here .... however recently we have tried to get our dog groomed and it has been a shit show! We live in Columbia and bring our pups all the way to Batesburg for service. Both me and my spouse work and live in Columbia... so we go out of our way to come here because we thought it mattered! ... today was the last straw ... and this isn't the first... they gave us a time for grooming at 1 pm ... so my significant other left work early to get our dog there by 1. .... I work an hour from home and was prepared to get our dog from the groomers by 3 or 4 ... 2 to 3 hours .. surely enuff time ... I arrived at 345 and was told it would be a "few more hours" ... this establishment closes at 6 ... so your telling me that I dropped my dog ( 1 year old dog that is just getting used to being anywhere but home) off for 3 hours before you could get to her!!! ... unacceptable!! If you went to get your haircut(even at a walk in place) and your appointment was at 1 and nobody touched you for 3 hours you would be pissed!! And so am i!!! The excuse i was given was there was a pair of great Pyrenees before her! ... crap! If my dog is scheduled at 1 that's when she gets cut ... she should not have to wait in a pen for 3+ hours for her appointment!! We will be searching for a new vet/...
Read moreToday I received a phone call telling me that the tech we saw this week forgot to charge us for a rabies vaccine that was given to Bri this week. Normally, no problem. It's not the problem of paying for the vaccine. We received a call from a Deputy in Kinston last week regarding federal charges brought against 2 people in a horrible case of animal cruelty case in which she had a dog co-owned by us, a 1 year male which she bought as a puppy and a female she was rehoming supposedly. All 3 were in bad shape, Bri being the worst. In 2 days we spent almost 1200.00. Mind you I worked at a vets office and I know how much they pay for medications and what they charge us. That is where vet offices make alot of their money. I understand they need to make it to run the business. But you are going to call me and ask me to pay a 20 vaccine that didn't cost you half that for 3 abused animals that we went and rescued and you just got 1200.00 from us. When I asked the receptionist who called she said the vet and I asked which vet. She told me which one. Shame on you! If it were that important to the business, you should have taken that 5.00 out of your pocket and paid it. We have used this vet practice for years. It used to be about the animals. Like everywhere else it gets more and more about the $$$. Dr. Biladeau if you leave, we will follow. You are an amazing vet. Thank you for all you do. The others, I have no words. It's show...
