There are lots of stores that have cheaper options (Dollar General, Citi Trends, Ollie's, Dollar Tree) all in one place so you don't have to go all over the place for stuff you may need at a lower price.

I just tried Ollie's and got quite a bit of brand name stuff for MUCH cheaper than the average cost. Quality however is hit or miss depending on what you are looking at. Everything was about $3 or less though...
