Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

If there is less than one star, I would give it. We went to this branch and looked at the ready to-go icecream but we could not find any with pistachio flavor. Sales person asked us what we wanted, we told her and she said he had in one of the display tubs. Meanwhile another employee started to push the chairs back to the tables. It was so loud that I had to ask her to please lift the chair instead of pushing it againt the floor making that high irritating noise. She kept on doing it. I told the sales person it was too noisy. We could not here what she was saying because the ruddness if the other employee. I asked the salesperson to get the manager, she said she was, I had to explain that and she asked that other employee to stop moving the chairs. As I paid and my wife and I were about to leave, she proceeded to push the chairs again. Rude employee.

We left and when we got home (not far from that store) we tasted this pistachio flavored ice cream. Darn, it was almond and not pistachio. We were lied too!!

By the way I did not see the one serving us wearing any gloves, god only know where were her hands last before serving us, counting money, cleaning window, countertop,etc...

Service sucked, one rude employee, and one lying manager (this is what the salesperson claimed to be). First time and last time we go there.

May be it is time for the Department of Health to pay them an...

PLEASE BELIEVE THE REVIEWS WITH ROACHES!! May the Lord pray for anyone that orders the soft serve.

Former employee (6 years ago). Nothing has changed!!!

Used to work this job during high school before I knew better. So many roach infestations and several dead rats during my time there (not to mention being robbed at gunpoint, which was not fun to say the least). The owner is well aware of the pest problems. First time I opened the store, I learned the main opening procedure was to “scoop the dead roaches off of the ice cream”. In addition, more than once the standard practice was to distract a customer while sneakily killing a roach (yes I did this too, knew it was wrong but it was my first ever job and was afraid of losing it). The first time we had to smoke bomb the store, the ice cream stayed out in the coolers which looking back I’m glad no one was poisoned. Owner is fully aware of these problems and does not take care. He is also quite creepy towards the high school girls that work there (at least when I was there, and he would “hug” and freak out the girls below 17)

Please like this review to bump it up and let more people see this. I truly fear for anyone’s health...

This rating is NOT for the icecream.. its ALWAYS delicious. Its for the service. For starters, the young girl fixing my banana split DID NOT HAVE ON GLOVES. The banana was rotten, black on the inside & looked mushy, so I asked if she could get me another one. She acted as if she was upset that I asked for a new one. So the other girl that was there, put on ONE glove & started to fix a new one. She also had an attitude & acted as if she was annoyed with us. I know people have bad days sometimes, but they need a class on customer service. And I shouldn't have to tell them to wear gloves. You're fixing food that people are eating, at least be safe in doing it. Needless to say, if the same girls are there when I go back, I won't be dining in. Previous visits the girls are so bubbly & friendly. Disappointing...
