I have been royally screwed over by this diocese and I am done with the Catholic faith as a whole. I have been dealing with demonic activity, and my friend who is religious said that the Catholics were most experienced ones to go to with this, but all they ever did was waste my time. There is a difference between mental illness and things picking you up and throwing you around your house. I contacted them last year through the baton rouge diocese, they got me in contact with a deacon that I did email, we had a couple of meetings, but it was clear he was inexperienced and he just ghosted me after a while and was not of any real help, and I have asked for another team if he didn't want to take me seriously. He did nothing but drop me when I was in the thick of crazy experience this and wouldn't get back to me. Then I go to report his unprofessional behavior to the diocese about a year later because I was so fed up with and then at the time that I wanted to go seek help elsewhere but that didn't pan out, I wanted to report him in hopes of getting a more professional person who actually wanted to help me and knew what they were doing, Only to be met with hostility from extremely hateful and rude receptionist, The receptionist denied that they even had dealing with demons as a service, even though I reached out to them a year prior I tried to explain things to her however the rude old crotchety woman who just jumped down my throat before I can actually explain myself. She wouldn't let me leave a complaint to the proper channels was extremely a spiteful and argumentative the whole time when I was the professional one in this conversation. I did call the people in the New Orleans diocese and they confirmed that she should have let me have the option to leave a formal complaint, and that was it within my right to do so, and if she kept blocking me I could probably leave a complete to the bishop himself of baton rouge. Not every Catholic in Louisiana is a jerk, I want to state that quite clearly. The people in New Orleans also confirmed that the Deacon was very inexperienced when explain to them what happened and just said try another parish diocese but the other ones just recommend going to baton rouge and they don't want to help me so I am just done with with the Catholic branch of the church altogether. So allegedly the baton rouge deacon just got uppity and ghosted me, and apparently they wouldn't let lave a formal complaint and ask for someone who's more experienced. he didn't take the time to understand the situation and didn't answer my questions. My late fiance was Catholic so I wanted to give the Catholics a shot but after what I have seen I will never deal with Catholic church or organization. I was handling the situation professionally and the receptionist was extremely rude the whole time was making it impossible for me to properly report this unprofessional behavior from the deacon and refusing to bring me to the proper channels to complaint. The diocese in New Orleans did confirm that she was not supposed to do that and it was well within my rights to ask for the person to leave a complaint with. Also didn't you Catholics write the book on exorcisms? You have books on miracles, you have books on angels, you have a books cataloging demons. This stuff is a big part of your theology in a big part of your church tradition, it's either you believe in what you preach or you don't, you can't have it both ways. Quite frankly I am done with the Catholics in Louisiana and there are better branches of the church to go to that actually have a heart. I would stay clear of St.George Catholic Church in baton rouge as well because it is ran by the most arrogant priest I have ever seen. I have only encountered one good church that is Catholic, if you people want to try out a real Catholic Church that isn't full of pride and arrogance, go to "Our Lady of Mercy" they will treat you with respect. I will definitely be writing a certified letter to both the bishop of baton rouge and the archbishop about this...
