The Juicy Seafood Restaurant & Bar- Siegen — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

Please do not eat here…. I came down to visit family this weekend and last night we decided to have dinner here every thing was going great until we got I got the check . Once reviewing the check I see that it is a discrepancy with my check because I ordered the half pound of mussels and clams among other things . Once I reviewed my check I noticed that I had been charged for whole pound for both. I informed the waitress who went to the back to speak to manager. The waitress proceeded to come back and ask me if I still had food in which I did have majority of my food left . She then proceeded to take my packaged food to the back . I waited for about ten minutes for my food to come back out and noticed that she had taken my food to the back and took food out now mind you I had already been eating my food this was my remaining food to take home. So I asked did you take my food to the back and take food out she said yes so I asked so you took my food to the back and picked food out of my bag she said yes. I said and I’m supposed to pay for that I don’t know what you went to the back and did to that food. The manager came out and and went to say it is policy that if they make a mistake with what they put on the tab that they take it to the back and pick through the bag take food out she said yes. This was my family’s first visit to this restaurant, and I have a lot of thoughts. Upon arrival, it was hard to find our way to the door. Though the porch is huge, you have to weave through cars to find the right place to get on the ramp up to the door. There needs to be a set of stairs on the side of the porch near the side parking lot. I didn’t love that because there were 6 of us (5 adults and a baby), we had to wait until everyone was inside before we could be seated. My parents are older and it would’ve been nice to have been able to be seated while others drove around the building to find a parking spot. The music was on the verge of being too loud, but it would’ve been forgivable if it hadn’t been skipping (like a bad Bluetooth connection? It sounded like a CD with deep scratches.) the entire time we were there, which was extremely annoying. I don’t know why they didn’t notice and fix that issue. Our server wasn’t very attentive, and our food took a very long time to come out - around 40 minutes - but when it did, everything was delicious and we really enjoyed our meal. My dad commented on what a good value it was compared to some other places we had been. All in all, we will for sure go back sometime, but if they don’t make a few changes, we may not...

Me & my boyfriend came way from Fl to try this spot only to be disappointed. We actually went on his birthday (08/30) and it made me feel bad because we had reservations somewhere else and I kept bugging him about eating at this place. When we first walked in we were seated but it took 10-15 minutes after we were seated before we were even acknowledged or received a waitress. When she did finally come SHE NEVER said her name neither did she have a name tag on & the way she approached us as if she was in a RUSH because she apparently was working the bar as well. I can only describe what she look like because AGAIN never received her name. Overall it didn’t take long for the food to come but when it did we didn’t have no utensils to use for the crabs had to ask for that. Food was 4/10 the sauce was OILY we got all the seasonings combined and it didn’t taste like it. Our waitress never came to the table to refill drinks or nothing it just was what it was with her. She came and asked were we ready for the checks and I proceeded to ask her about the birthday club discount and of course he didn’t receive that. I feel like for 80 plus bucks the service should have been ALOT better as well as the food and regardless he should have...
