From the first time I dealt with these people after signing a contract with them, I knew that I made a mistake. We were in need of a bed and couldn't afford to buy one flat out. They pray on people in that position. They tell you one price and then throw in a bunch of other things and you end up paying so much more. I paid for MONTHS for an "insurance policy" that I never agreed to. Then when I caught it they tried telling me otherwise. I know I never agreed to it. What good is insurance... On a mattress.... Anyway. The manager was arrogant and rude, the employees don't have a clue and don't care. I was told that I had 575 left to pay on my cash price, I paid about 230 toward that and then when I came in to pay the 3 something that should have been left, they charged me 500 MORE. I couldn't believe it. Absolute con artists. They told me that my money went towards taxes and fees.. so I guess that 80-90% of those 2 payments went towards taxes and fees and not the price that I was given. Don't do business with these people they will lie to you, they will trick you and you will end up paying three times more...
Read moreAt no point in wasting time filling out my application did they say I cannot have people living with me as a reference, nor does it say it on the application. I have rented here before. But since this, my parents moved in because of health issues and I am taking care of them. I've had a couple of friends die from the pandemic. I don't know many other people other than the 4 listed references, 2 parents, 1 sister, 1 ex wife. I can't use any of them apparently.
They have plenty of things they can check from my lease with the landlord, which I've been there for years, to my employment verification check, pay stubs, past history with this place, etc. I had to walk out to take my business elsewhere. Essentially if you don't know many people because you have lost loved ones, and stuck taking care of others, they don't care. They weren't even sympathetic to that fact, just completely ignoring what I said. Take youe business elsewhere. Yes, it's a business but all they care about is the sale...
Read moreMy wife signed a contract on 12 /13/24. Furniture was scheduled to be delivered on 12/16/24. I was called on 12/13/24 and was told it was rescheduled to be delivered on 12/17/24. Today is 12/17/24, no one had showed up so I call the store. Mike tells me that we have never been on a deliver schedule. No I am somewhat confused since Mike is the 4th person I have spoken with. Keep in mind, I was not at the store when my wife purchased the furniture and signed the contract. But, nevertheless , I don't have furniture, I have to call Henry tomorrow and hope that my furniture is delivered before I owe another payment. At this point, I would like to speak with a supervisor but apparently there is not one available. Should get my money back and go...
