We work hard for our money. It would be nice if the owners/managers at this place actually cared.

Almost $7 for a box of chicken that is labeled “4 pcs / 15 oz” for me to take it out of my grocery bag and realize they skimped me and I overpaid for it. I thought well maybe these were heavy pieces of chicken. I paid for 15 oz. That’s roughly $6.50. So I broke out the scale.

10 oz.

I notice more and more the way this location robs us. Falsely labeling smaller portion containers of things as larger ones is just one of the major ways. I picked up a bag of Doritos off the shelf labelled as going for 5.49. Except the listed net weight was wrong. They placed the bags that were not on sale where the family sized bags were and vice versa. They did it because they are virtually indistinguishable and most people won’t notice.

Choices like these are not accidents. It’s by design. The same reason they leave past sell by date dairy products on their shelves and in their refrigerators sometimes weeks after their SBD… milk, yogurt, cheese, juices, packaged foods. There are tons of things that just sit endlessly on their shelves as the store hopes some suckers will scoop them up.

Edit: went back for several items a few days later at the deli counter and was checking out the rotisserie chicken. I was curious and decided to look at the labels on their containers of fried chicken. Sure enough they all had three pieces yet they were labelled as having 4 and being 15 oz.

I noticed that there is a staff member commenting on most of the 5 star reviews yet ignoring the ones with bad experiences...

This place is disgusting! I refuse to touch the produce section I go to a different store for produce. I spend more time looking through the produce section than I do shopping the aisles. It’s repulsive. The onions are soft and there are flies flying around them. I picked one up and dropped it in disgust and a swarm of fruit flies came out. Just on April 12th 2024, I needed strawberries and oranges in a pinch. A five minute trip turned into 10 minutes of me looking through mushy oranges and disgusting strawberries. I finally thought I picked good strawberries. Only to come home and see the top one was caved in and covered in white fur and mold. The entire strawberry. This doesn’t happen overnight this container was sitting there for a long time. I was enraged and went back only for one of the employees to ask me if I checked before leaving? I didn’t know that was my job to check through your produce section to weed out moldy strawberries. Last I checked you are supposed to have someone doing quality control not your customers. I have seen with my own eyes dairy and meet products left on random shelves from customers and most likely returned to the shelves after they spoiled. The deli counter is unclean and the dairy section has had expired goods way to many times to count out for buy. I will never go here again I would rather drive 30 minutes to a good store than ever step foot in that cesspool. Only thing you can count on is boxed goods that they physically...

Thankful for the new Manager Ahmad. The people who are supposed to be customer service have no customer service. The Woman and man who work there are rude and obnoxious. I was told that I should not have pressed the need customer assistance at the self check out. I was rudely told how i did everything wrong. How I was suppose to wait 15 minutes for a digital coupon before a checkout. Not once did anyine say, let me help you get this fixed. I was told by the woman "it's people like you that are a problem." I would like to know what she meant by "people like me" . She also stated that they don't have to service me because they are part of a union. I don't know what that means but I hope someone explains to me what that exactly means. The manager was completely nice and professional. I was glad he was there and witness some of it, how even while I was getting checked out the woman would not stop and keeped on going. I started to repeat what she said out loud to maybe stop her. but no, she could not stop. I guess if you belong to a union it means to her that you can treat customers anyway you want. I know many people who belong to unions and they are nice. maybe this is a union that allows meaness. Thank you again to the manager who was nice and...
