There are no words that I could use to describe how amazing my experience has been in Dr. Donovan's office. I have suffered with ingrown toe nails for years. I have also had a large mass of plantar warts on the bottom of my foot for about 6/7 years that have always caused discomfort. Other specialists were never able to fully take care of the problems I was dealing with, so I was at a loss trying to find a solution. After some more discomfort, I decided to reach out to Dr. Donovan's office to try one last time to find relief. Let me tell you, from the very moment I walked in - I have enjoyed every minute in this office. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable (which a big thing I look for is comfort since doctor offices are normally never fun to go to). They always remember me when I come in and always remember conversations we have previously had. I have only been working with Dr. Donovan for a few months, but things have been going very well. I have had two surgeries to remove two of my re-occurring ingrown toe nails - one is fully healed and the other is on the same path as well, also their is no more pain which is amazing. We have been doing some treatment on my plantar warts for the last month and they are almost all gone! The fact that I don't have any discomfort anymore on the bottom of my foot is such a relief!! I absolutely adore the people in the office and how much good they do to help their patients. I fully recommend coming here to take care of any of your problems. They are true professionals and I will continue to go to them for any other future problem...
Read moreI'm writing this review on behalf on my husband who is the patient (but I go along with all his appointments). My husband was skeptic of the doctors at Erie Foot and Ankle Center even though he was referred by his regular podiatrist. His apprehension was only due to the fact that they are young but from the start, they've proven to us that they know what they're doing. Shortly after going to EGAC, my husband fell and dislocated his big toe. We spent hours that night in the ER, which was unsuccessful, but we were able to see his regular podiatrist AND Dr. Donovan that afternoon. My husband was impressed with how Dr. Donovan got on the chair and tried to get this toe back in place. She moved it more than they did in the ER but knew it wasn't going to stay so she scheduled him for surgery a few hours later. Believe me when I say my husband is a difficult patient and I often feel bad about his behavior but after that visit, he has major respect for these doctors. They may not have the years experience my husband is use to in a doctor but they definitely have the knowledge.
I'm pretty hands-on with my husband's medical care and I appreciate everyone in this office to talk to and educate on what they are going to do at each visit and what to do until the next. They are all very friendly so it makes me comfortable to ask any questions I may have. I wish all our doctors' offices were this friendly...
Read moreMy very first contact with was with Gabby and she was great! We laughed and talked like we were friends. As I walked in the door on my first visit I noticed how clean and organized the office was. (check) All the ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. (check) After meeting with Dr. Donovan, she listened to me and then explained everything I complained about and then explained her plan of action. (check) Dr. Donovan was very knowledgeable and very professional. (check). I was treated like a human being and not just another chart number. (check). So may times I have left a doctors office knowing I was not going back for whatever reason, but I left Dr. Donovan's office the same way I walked in; HAPPY! and that is definitely a (check). I am so happy I made a good choice. Anxiously awaiting my next appointment. Keep up the great...
