The Petoskey location is the worst! The last 3 times I have been there I leave thinking I won't be back. I finally give it another shot and it's as bad or worse! Today my husband, son and myself all went in for dinner. We got there and the server came over in a decent amount of time and took our drink order. She brought the drinks rather quickly and asked if we wanted an appetizer. My son ordered mozzarella sticks and I told her to go ahead and order those and then I would let her know if my husband and I wanted an app as well. I had high hopes at this point! A different girl brought the mozz sticks out a few minutes later and then we sat. No server for a really long time. My son finished his appetizer and we still sat. The server didn't come back to get our order for about 15 or 20 minutes or so. She finally came and took the order and we waited another 25 minutes for the food. My husband and I ordered the mushroom swiss burgers and it was completely burned around the edges and so dry it was literally hard to swallow. I was breaking pieces off that were so hard they were crunchy. Last I knew, burger isn't supposed to be crunchy! I didn't even make it through half of it. It was supposed to have garlic parmesan sauce on it and I didn't taste it at all. I asked for no mayo or honey mustard, which they got right, but I don't think they put the garlic parmesan sauce on it either. My son ordered naked chicken tenders and fries which seemed to taste okay but he was charged for ranch dressing! Shouldn't that come with chicken tenders?? It was just one small cup. It wasn't like we ordered a bunch of it or something. We counted 8 tables in the restaurant and we saw 3 servers at that time. I also watched the bartender and one other girl and two guys all standing by the entrance of the kitchen talking and playing on their phones. The server never came to check on how everything was. I had to flag down a different server to get a knife to cut my burger. We finally got the bill after waiting quite a bit again. As usual, service sucks and the food wasn't anything near great. I've worked in food service for most of my life and I try to give servers the benefit of the doubt in situations like this but they were not busy, there is really no reason why we should wait so long, not see a server at our table for anything other than taking our order, or having food so burned you can't eat it. They used to be good and maybe other locations still are but the Petoskey location needs new management or something. It's just not good. I've had a bad experience almost every time I have been there. Lesson (finally) learned. This time I...
Read moreThe worst BWW! We didn't initially want to eat at a chain restaurant, as we were trying to spend our trip to Petoskey experiencing the local things, however because of the time of the day/week/year, most local places were closed and we figured we would be able to get something familiar and good for dinner. The waitress/server we had was incredibly rude. The day of our visit (October 11), it was not busy. It took her 20 mins to even come take our food order and bring our drinks back to us after she took our drink order. She spent most of the time socializing behind the bar, I unfortunately was not able to catch her name. We did have a very small issue with our food, one of my wings was missing, which is no big deal, I understand mistakes happen, but it was how it was handled that was not okay. I ended up having to flag down another server to bring it to her attention, as I had not seen our server for quite sometime. She promised to make it right and went to the kitchen, maybe 30 seconds later our server comes storming out of the kitchen, and to our table, rudely asking what our problem was. After calmly explaining what the issue was, she then exclaimed "What do you want me to do about it?" I calmly suggested a fix, which was making just 1 more wing. She them stomped off saying she would see what she could do, before I could tell her our drinks were empty, and had been for about 15 mins. About 10 mins later she came out of the kitchen with a huge wing, slammed it on the table, and in the pettiest voice possible says "There you go honey, there's your ONE wing. Is that better?" I politely said "Yes, thank you." and my husband then pointed out our still empty drinks. She rolled her eyes and said she would get to it when she could. We sat there eating spicy food for well over half an hour without drinks. She brought us refills with our bill once we were done eating, so they were fairly useless. We left appalled, and quite disappointed, as it put a bad taste in our mouths for a restaurant we generally love, at any other location we have visited. It was the one and only poor experience we had on our...
Read moreEvery time I come to this location it is a rediculously horrible experience. Employees and management have no customer service skills at all. We eat at bdubs at least once a week and we will just go to Traverse City where they have competent employees. Any time we order we ask for round containers because the large box for our order of 30 wings will rip and our wings are constantly at the bottom of the bag by the time we get home(traverse city has no issues but when I requested this at this location not only did the employee deny the request but was incredibly rude about it as if I was asking for free food or something!) We always get ranch and mixed veggies with our order and each time we order from here the ranch in not even half way full and only get two when we ordered 4 and when ordering three mixed veggies we don't barely get any if they even put them in the bag or it's either carrots or celery. We order from the app so it can't be a mistake on our end when ordering. We stopped even calling to speak to a manager because the girl that we speak with is rude and blows off our complaints as if we are not complaining for legitimate reasons, especially when we spend the kind of money we spend weekly at this establishment. Regional manager needs to come into this location and do more training with management as well as employees on customer service etiquette and professionalism. It's sad that we have to drive all the way down to traverse to be able to get Buffalo wild wings when this location is only a hop skip away from our home. We do plan on contacting corporate as well because they deserve to know how their customers are being treated and potentially no longer frequenting their establishment because the lack of training and professionalism that this...
