Corktown Pizza — Restaurant in Bear Creek Township

I tried this new pizza place 3 different times and each time I was shocked and very disappointed. On our first visit we were seated by a friend who worked there and we were then informed Michelle would be our server. it tooks 15 minutes to bring our drinks. Then she turned to use the computer and I asked where Kristy was and she replies " up at the bar spreading gossip. I looked up to see the bartender sticking his finger in Kristy's face.All our visit we listened to our server complain about having to work at Corktown. On our second visit our first round of drinks got to the table quickly but that was it. We had to go to the bar and ask the bartender for them. It took over an hour to get our food. Our appetizer came out with our pizza. And it looked beautiful. Our service was very poor. It was pure chaos as the servers were answering takeout orders and stuck there ringing up people leaving the patrons to wait. Again we listened to the complaints of working there this time by a young man. On my third visit we watched the bartender leave and there were few staff members doing much. It was busy and each server was over whelmed. Kristy was working and I dont know the bartenders name but he was very large. Michelle was my server again and no where to be found. I watched my food sit in the window for well over ten minutes it arrived cold and hard to eat. Thiss time Michelle was at the computer she did nothing except again complain and use very rude derogative tone. as Kristy was taking care of customers she was the only one who was emptying bus tubs and getting ice. Our friends told me that Kristy was an fun entertaining server. We were not able to be waited on by her even though we asked. As our meal came to an end I was shocked and afraid as I saw this very large man had his hand right in Kristy's face we saw through the kitchen doorway and we could here the way he spoke to her. I'm so torn on this review, because honestly had the food been hot and correct. I really feel like I'd go here often. The food was good but Holy good God the service was all over the place.

The kid at the take out counter was good and knowledgeable and attempted to take my order but I decided to just go get a drink at the bar.

There was no less than 4 manager or corporate looking people at the bar. They seemed to be attending to me well, took my order. Figured it'd be like 20-25 minutes for a take out Detroit style pizza.

I was way wrong, I had to confirm my take out order of one large pizza, bread sticks, and Mac and cheese twice with the guy that took my order. And they still forgot the Mac and cheese 35 minutes and 2 beers in. Then took another 10 minutes to get the Mac and cheese that wasn't even prepared right. The pizza was missing the flavored crust and had the wrong pepperoni, the Italian bread sticks looked awful but tasted alright but also didn't have parm on them. The mac and cheese did not have bread crumbs on it and probably not the hot honey, it was kinda sweet. And honestly the pizza was good but seemed under cooked and that tomato sauce they put on after its definitely sitting hot too long, it tasted like metal.

Over 45 minutes for this experience and I'm left with cold food that tastes alright but I'm not paying 60 dollars plus tip for this ever again. Seriously the food was decent. Also why no happy hour at 4 pm to get people in? There was next to no one in the restaurant.

Ya'll need to get it together, I thought about just going to Buffalo wild wings twice and ya'll are connected.

Bad experience overall. Visiting from out of town. We were seated right away. But after about 30 minutes no one came to the table. The table next to us came in after us and had their drink order taken right away and got their drinks. We had to ask the server if we could order. He took our drink/food order. We waited another 20 minutes, he still never brought us our drinks. We saw another table get brought their food and it was the wrong item. The server brought the food from the other table back to the kitchen. We watched the server eat while standing at the counter. He never washed his hands. We finally had to go ask for him to get us drinks. The table next to us got so irate because the server never came back to take their food order they up and walked out. We finally asked for a manger. The manger came out and we explained our issue with the server. She said she would take over serving our table. (That was the last we saw her) so between the guy we had and another server they both handled our table. The food came out another 20 minutes later. During our time there was a number of people who came in and left because no one came to seat them. Food was excellent. But need to improve service from staff. This could be a very popular go to place if they improved...
