Dollar General — Local services in Bedford

I stopped in seeing the Clearance Sale sign. I was looking at an empty shelf where storage bins were... on sale. I ask a worker stocking shelves about the empty shelf, he was very friendly and honestly wanted to help, but none available. To help me out he gave me a great discount on other storage bins. According to the receipt his name was Tim, though he did say he was the manager. Gotta give the guy some credit for going above and beyond. I placed an pick up order and I'm guessing instead of them collecting the order they cancelled it so they wouldn't have to do it. First they sent me a notification saying the order was going to be late. When I called to find out why the order was cancelled, first they said they don't do pick up orders and then the story changed and they said they didn't receive notification of the order. Blue ridge Avenue dollar general really must think their customers are idiots. I never had this problem with the the Dollar General...

The new dollar general on Longwood by Subway...absolutely amazing. The store is not a hot mess with freight blocking every aisle and a mess to dodge trying to navigate the store. I was very impressed. It is also much larger and carries a lot wider variety of goods. I think this will be the only DG I shop at...
