Unbelievable, rude lady at the welcome table! Wanted me to get a leash that is not retractable. When I locked it in place, it was a standard leash until I triggered it. Now... She would not accept that as an acceptable solution. Rude, to say the least, so I "retracted" myself from the market without going shopping. Unbelievable. So... watch out when going.. the lady makes up rules as she goes along. PS there were other dogs there on retractable leashes, and they didn't get admonished. Is this a bias? Is this printed? If so, where? Also, when was this rule made... this week? I'm sorry I missed the other vendors, She soured the experience of the day there for me. I'm not sorry for giving back the cheap plastic disposable giveaway they were handing out. There are some bigger markets with more vendors close enough that I won't need to go to this one. We enjoy going here on Saturdays to enjoy fresh baked goodies that you won't find elsewhere like sourdough breads and rolls, baked goods without the toxic seed oils, fresh produce and flowers, wonderful hand sewn kitchen towels, aprons, bowl covers and "unpaper" towels which we recently just tried and love! It's a great little farmers market in a Great little town. Locally grown vegetables not 50 miles away local but right here in Bedford local. Beef, Chicken, Pork, along with other meats you guessed it Local right from Bedford Co. Wonderful baked goods, flowers, Soaps, and yes Live entertainment.
