Double Dragon — Restaurant in Bedford

Food was great! It was hot. Service was exceptional. Driver was at my door within minutes! This will be my go to restaurant for Chinese food always!

I didn't see any place where I could add another review, so I'm putting it here.

I got sweet and sour chicken and shrimp fried rice. Food is excellent and the shrimp are huge. You get a lot of food for your money.

The driver was extremely nice and courteous. Delivery was quicker than the woman who took my order said it would be. And that's the only downside of the Double Dragon...the woman on the phone. She kept screaming in my ear. Don't know if it was at the kids or what, but it was just piercing. Needs a little work on telephone etiquette perhaps!

It was hot, brown sauce thin and sweet, not much else to it. Rubbery, chewy, cheap chicken thigh bits possibly cooked from frozen with nasty rubbery skin. No broccoli or carrots in it. Fried rice had little flavor, simply cooked in broth for yellow color. Strange off taste as if oil used was super old. Egg rolls were served super oily and greasy, wrapped and held in napkins for a few minutes. You know...when you go to a restaurant at 12:30pm and you are the only one there, that speaks volumes and set off alarm bells in which I should have paid attention. I ordered the Gen. Tso's and it was one of the worst I ever had. At least I got the Pepsi to wash it out. If anything happens next (food poisoning or Montezuma) I'll keep you...

Take this from someone who has ordered A LOT of Double Dragon and had time to experiment with the menu. About 75% of the menu is quite literally disgusting. That being said, the remaining 25%, for whatever reason, is unbelievably on point and delicious. I highly recommend the following options: Chicken on a Stick, Sesame Chicken, Fried Dumplings, Chicken or Pork Lo Mein, Chicken or Pork Fried Rice.

Steer far away from anything with Beef, brown sauce, or seafood here. Double Dragon is quite the enigma where the food can range from stroke-inducing to life changing. The service is always good, and their delivery is top notch. They're wonderful people and they deserve to stay in business... just please get rid of three quarters...
